Million Dollar Hatrick?

Nad Al Sheeba (X Zipping Kelly) for Peter Lagogiane wins the Richmond Regional Final over 520m, after winning his heat the week prior, in a flying BON 29.41.

It happens in three's they say.....

Group Winner:

Unleash Collinda wins the Group 2 Traralgon Cup in notching his second Group race win, taking his prizemoney tally to $330,000 from a very impressive 42 wins. This was his 6th Group final and comes on the back of recently becoming a dad for the first time.

An amazing effort to win this race when you consider he would not have slept much lately with the kids keeping him up late at night.

Congratulations to connections.

He is a great sprinter.

He has shown many times he doesn't have to lead early to win top class races.

If you want chase in your pups he epitomises the word.

Will be interesting to see which brother really kicks on in the breeding barn personally I am leaning towards his brother.

Love the variety aust breeding at present throws up , its getting to the point which ever lines your after , dont worry it wont be long before a stud comes along with everything you might be chasing !

Yet another avenue for the Awesome Assassin / Goddess of fire nick in x , the same as his own make up .

Historically Unleash Collinda's damline hasn't produced many great sires. But then again the same has been said about Bale sires and look how they are going now.

I like the many successes his dam line has had to Brett lee and his descendants, very successful in her dam line and her sires also .

Good luck to both dogs ! Could be a wait and see Im thinking

Lochinvar Marlow didn't do a bad job at stud when prizemoney wasn't like it was now

That statement is incorrect and irrelevant. His biggest win was the Paws of Thunder and it is worth less now than when he won it over a decade ago. So if anything it favours his record.

Reading Sandros thread Im thinking it refers to my thread about breeding in general and Marlows offspring results ?

Not his race record .

Ps even though I referred to Hugo not Marlow .

The link he posted was to Lochinvar Marlow's personal performance not his progeny's, so that is what I thought he was talking about. He was a handy sire at best. Hardly an example of that old Dennis Reid dam line producing good sires.

His progeny and prize money list earnings are on the right hand tab of the page that was posted .

Im sure someone could bring up a stud dog caliber list from this dam line , they might not have taken off , like many dont , but it doesnt change they are the level of dog ( GRP performed ) we are trying to breed .

Regardless Beast Unleashed certainly puts fire and chase into his progeny.

Golden Easter Egg Finalist

Nad Al Sheba (x Zipping Kelly) qualifies for the prestigious Golden Easter Egg final as the second fastest semi-final winner. In a real tale of 'home bred' progeny, Nad Al Sheba is owned and trained by the Lagogiane Family and named after the kennels he represented in Dubai.

This is where it really goes home bred, Peter trained the sire and owned him in connection with Dawn Garrett, with Dawn owning the Dam Zipping Kelly and she was trained by, you guessed it, Peter Lagogiane.

Good luck to Team Lagogiane in the big one.
