The biggest worry for the future of greyhound racing is the lack of youth and the authorities seem to be discouraging them by putting hurdles in their way with rules like have to serve 6 months as handler before gaining trainers licence with some of these kids growing up with greyhound families.The PTB should be encouraging and helping all new people to join the greyhound ranks especially the young.At this rate Tassie will be lucky to have 10- 20 trainers in ten years.
