Been around the Greyhound dogs, for so many a joyful year It was'nt all that long ago, that we sat so shocked by tears Thankfully sanity prevailed, about the lies they'd put in gear Our dignity now restored, by the genuine people less the fear
But some who take advantage, of the right to write a given post Never seem to be fully informed, and just stir a silent ghost So many helpful and most knowledgeable hints, given as a toast Are blindly discarded, and taken as a personal downright roast
Some purveyors of the questions, are not interested in the answers They sit back patiently awaiting, with their doubting written cancers Just like a troubled chorus member, in a dedicated line of dancers Divorced forever of a membership, into the life of all romancers
These irritant rusty nails, try to overide, but constantly do fail When faced with logical answers, their weights don't match the scale Either way, the subject has been long lost, no more wagging of the tail Their self importance dwindles, as the longer distance down the trail
So in ending, I hope you take this with humor, and a gentle old hint There's more to life and friendship, than seeing your name in print People will soon accept you as you are, just like a soothing mint If you are willing, to look through your windows minus the bloody tint
