Looking at all Trent Lee's litters whelped in Australia you could safely say he was a bit of a failure or didn't quite live up to expectations. This is just my observation but I was wondering why, have a look through and see what you think.

When you look at his success in USA it seems to be that the doubling of his USA bloodlines has been the key in comparison to here in Australia. Particularly Wigwam Wag,Understood and Downing. Some Flying Penske lines as well.

A while back I bought a straw and do plan on using it and I think now that there are some offspring of the likes of Fernando,KC and other USA sires I'd think it would need to be used on one of these to try and utilize it.

So it looks like his legacy will live on in the USA and hopefully I can help by selecting a nice brood to use him on here in Australia.

And here I'm using Ted Howards bitch as an example as to how he could be used but I'm sure there will be many more girls in the future become available.

Simon,

As far as I can tell he sired 126 pups from 25 litters in Australia, and without looking in depth at the quality of broods he served (frozen), you can see why some would argue that Trent Lee was somewhat of a "failure"; that said I knew of two dogs that had immense ability but didn't always show it on raceday.

Regards his USA offspring, after taking a very quick look I would say that "Downing's" presence definitely seems to be a common factor within his succesful offspring, however, some breeders may argue how far back does presence "influence"?

Good luck when you do finally use the straw.
