I am eliminating The Red Cross from my list of preferred charity recipients. They are presently holding tens of $millions donated by good hearted people and generous businesses to assist those in desperate need as a result of the bushfires.
They have made an announcement that they will drip feed around a third of these donations to those affected, the balance remaining in a slush fund to be used for any future disasters.

THESE MONIES WERE DONATED TO HELP THE UNFORTUNATES MADE HOMELESS AND THE FIRIES WHO HAVE BEEN BATTLING THESE FIRES FOR THE PAST MONTHS. SOME OF THESE VOLUNTEERS WOULD BE OUT OF POCKET HUGELY. THEY STILL HAVE MORTGAGES TO PAY AND MOUTHS TO FEED.

These donations were made in good faith to help those in immediate need NOT to pay the wages of beaurecrats and administrators of The Red Cross. AUSTRALIANS ARE GENEROUS AND COMPASSIONATE AND ANY FURTHER DISASTERS WILL BE COVERED BY THEY SAME GENORSITY WE HAVE DISPLAYED ON THIS OCCASION.

I agree Ray.
BTW, it is not only the Red Cross that is copping the boot from a growing number of people, and rightly so.
I also read they deduct 10% of all funds for admin etc which is way over the top IMO.
Get the money out NOW.

For you and any other Grey people thinking the same perhaps you may consider giving some of the money you plan to donate to our very own GREY-AID Appeal.
Money will be distributed IMMEDIATELY as the need arises with 100% of it going to the people who need it.

I hope this is all sorted out pronto...it's not a good look at all.

Which equates to 12 million dollars according to Hadley. The plot thickens.

Way too much to justify, Stevo.
I think they need to take a real good look at themselves and what kind of message that sends out.

Good on ya Ray, I totally agree. If I was one of the kind-hearted donors I'd be demanding a 66% refund, the donations were to help those in need now. The Red Cross have done them selves no favors because potential future donors will think twice about donating their hard earned again!!! Shame on them...

My wife through our business donated a substantial amount to the Red Cross.
Talk about being pissed off ,never again you Bastards.I donated money to the fund to build new farm fences ,which is better than the Red Cross. There should be a parliamentary enquire into this act of bastardry.
