Good Odds Harada has today been retired to Stud.
With over 1.2 million dollars of prize money, the time has come for a break, says the trainer.
He's a winner of 3 Group races & a couple of other big known finals including the Maitland Future Stars.
It was only a couple of weeks ago that his full-litter brother FERAL FRANKY retired, so these two boys should prove popular over the coming years after their deeds on the track.
The litter has proven to be sensational with another litter-brother winning the recent WA Summer Chase which is a Group Listed race.
It's been a great litter. Maybe the best is yet to come.

Too many choices, not enough breeders

Not yet three years of age. He pretty much raced the entire year, last year. He deserves the break. Congratulations to connections.

I see he hasn't serviced any bitches yet. Has he a problem? Would have thought he'd serviced half-a-dozen bitch by now.

Don't think so. But when his brothers is a few hundred cheaper and id say quicker.. same breeding. Why pay more?

Good Odds Harada produces a Group 3 Nowra Puppy Classic finalist in his first litter to race. Going under the radar a bit for some reason and definitely not being given the "hype" of his brother, but Good Odds Harada has shown he will hold his own at stud
To be fair the "hype" of his brother has been well deserved...

Good Odds Harada has finally scraped into the Greyhound Recorder Sires Stats at 100 with a percentage of 25%. Using this as a criteria for future greatness as sire, he will be outstanding.
Over the decades I've noticed the greats start with a percentage of 25%+, the good ones at 20-25%, the solid ones 15-20% the also rans less than 15%.
