In the last 4 weeks due to Covid 19 travelling restrictions , some breeders have been turned back at checkpoints. However this is due to some of the Gardai not familiar with the breeding of greyhounds
coming under essential services. We have been in touch with authorities who have given clearance for travelling. Anyone travelling should have in their possession a letter or text from the Stud keeper advising them of their reason for travelling. We at Newpark have agreed to meet up with breeders for collection and delivery at an agreed location which lessens the need for the breeder to travel the full distance and therefore meet less checkpoints. Jonathon Best also travels from the Kerry Limerick area every Monday
