My bitch had her first season aged 2yrs and 8 months. I'd like to plan for mating her, getting her settled in to where she will be mated and whelped down. Is there any way I can get an idea when it's likely she will break for her second season?

I am sure it will vary but for example our Incredible Lulu didn't have a season till 2yrs and 6 months there after she broke every 9 to 12 months.
Good Luck.

Bad example, but Prince Diablo's (very quick dog and sire in Australia) broodie was over 5 1/2 and hadn't had a season. Come on season in transport to NSW and had seasons every 6 months until she was 12 after that

They'll come on when they're ready
