Has this fellas stud career stalled (Only 20 bitches in the last year), because of his reputation of producing nonnies and fighters? My goodness he can throw scarily fast pups.
Breeders are still hot and cold about using Sennachie Yes his throwing nonees and fighters but his also throwing awesome speed and strength Many breeders are aware theres Shtt in the damline but the outcross of Fernando and Kinloch would eliminate the marring gene. The finger is pointed to his 2nd dam for the marring gene. If you check Punk Rock Lass pedigree 12 generations you will see a 3x8 Lively Band a Irish Derby winner a speedster and fighter imported to Australia Feedback Im getting from the smart breeders Is emphasis on rearing attention I dont think his pups have been racing 12 months and much success. Group winners, record breakers. Very impressive

KB also threw his share of fighters and he is much closer up in the pedigree, he's the prime suspect IMO !

I heard the same as Graham. Multiple crosses of certain damline further back is to blame.

Throw back factor does exist, only fools bury their heads in the sand and pretend it doesnt exist. 3x8 Eight generations not 12 generations. Read the pedigree properly

I totally agree with you that early education whilst rearing is the key to getting the best out of them
But honestly, you could almost say that about any pup from any breeding configuration these days
If you don't set the foundation down early you are wasting your time and money
I think Sennachie is going above average, can get super greyhounds, generally they can run a strong 500m, like his sire and will be happy to put a bitch to him in the future

As they say, there is a fine line between a champion and a nonnie/fighter.

Graham 3x8 my opinion hasn't changed !
KB can throw fighters, and so did his Grandfather Molotov !!!
Gable Dodge line known for producing fighters !
Lonesome Cry top Brood sire and champion sire of fighters !

Use a hard chasing bitch, rear them properly and lessen the odds of getting nonnies. Yes, thats stating the obvious and yet still plenty dont do it.

I also remember Mr Lenehan saying on here that his line had failed to produce a successful Sire !
Its been a great line for the Lenehan Clan and i hope Sennachie succeeds because he was one heck of a Racer !

Every expert used to say that about the Wheeler lines
Look at them now
Sennachie already succeeding
He has two 520m track record holders at Queenslands 2 main tracks
He is siring group winners and fast dogs all over the shop
There are plenty of sires including the top 2 that throw nonnies and fighters. They just have greater numbers to camouflage them with.
And is it always the sires fault?

The Nevilles never blame themselves, their brood or the rearing ;)

Dont see anyone posting dont use Sennachie Ive tipped him into breeders when his first went to stud. Next 12 months I think more success for him. I will currently keep tipping him if pedigree suits Most breeders are aware of his pups sucess I still think Lively Band influenced somewhat

Graeme, hes quite possibly the best of the Fernando sons atm and is doing a fantastic job. No reason at all not to use him.

Between sennachie, out of range, my redeemer, rippin Sam, whiskey riot, west on Augie, etc. all having success and Tommy Shelby starting like a house on fire Fernando Bale definitely has a lot of options for who will take his throne
And there's still plenty of sons whos pups aren't racing age yet but the reports are good
