Fernando Bale x Bekim Bale cross is a highly proven one with Tornado Tears , Ripping Sam & Here's Tears etc , if I had a Fernando Bale broodie the first sire I'd use is Bekim Bale or a son of his as there's a good chance of replicating the same success in reverse IMO

That successful cross has far more to do with the strength of that damline, rather than Bekim Bales input IMO

The power of Bekim Bale in a pedigree is well on show here...reinforcing the Fernando Bale/Bekim Bale cross. Which sits at 44% city winners to runners!

While Bekim Bale is much maligned...he had freakish ability and was a sire of the year at one stage.

Not relating to Fernando Broods but Bekim Bale also sire of the dam of Sentenced who won the Qld Derby

That stat is completely irrelevant. With the incredible Bekim Bale daughter Tears Siam going to Fernando Bale 3 times and having a huge influence on those numbers.

None of those three pedigrees are examples of what you are suggesting.

Paul's right.

111 "Metropolitan Full Stake" (MFS) city wins have been recorder (the ones that count not Provincial meetings) by FB x BB broods with 79 of those wins coming from the Tears Siam litters (so far), and there's a 4th litter to come.

That only leaves 32 MFS city wins between the remaining 17 "Race Age" litters with a total combined pups of 127 or 1.88 MFS city wins per litter.

My point was the power of Bekim Bale in a pedigree...the Fernando Bale nick with Bekim was a sidebar to my point about Bekim Bale.

What exactly is a MFS Steve? Can you elaborate of which meetings youre counting?

So, excluding Tears Siam, its 1.88 city wins or winners per litter? Whats the average size litter 5 / 5.5 / 6? Still must be batting above the all comers to Fernando %...no?

How can you exclude a brood from the stats...the rest of the sires have champion broods making up their stats!!

Bekim Bale brood owners whom have bred from their Bekim girls have been rewarded. Not all Bekim Bale broods bred have top notch form...

As clearly stated above

I'm using it as an example only to show what the "Percentages" looks like when you take away the bitch in question.

So that makes it 127 divided by 17 which = 7.47 ppl

Never said they didn't. We're talking about the breakdown of FB x BB matings.....not the total picture or race form.

And I agree. BB bitches seem to breed above average.
