The champion stakes was a wonderful result for the Ballymac kennel
breeding the first four home.

CLICK HERE Amazing achievement and when looking through the breeding of each all by four different broods. Two of them by the Dowling Blonde Returns line and two from bitches brought in from outside. I wouldnt be strong on breeding but would love to hear peoples thoughts on the different matings.

CLICK HERE Pestana goes back to the Cabra line via Noel Browne and Coolavanny. Mixed bag of Australian and American here with Top Honcho, Roanokee, Flying Penske and Kinloch Brae represented.

CLICK HERE Ballymac Wild Ballymac Penske here again a bitch that won a trialstake (I think) and over 600 yards super brood her sons Vulturi and Ballymac Eske putting lots of stamina into their progeny. I dont know much about the bottom line here with Tims Crow a short runner derby finalist .

CLICK HERE Ballymac Anton is a real Dowling Blonde returns bottom and top line with two great Irish lines Minnie and Burnpark in the mix.

CLICK HERE This lads bottom line goes back to the great Pinhead with a heavy Australian influence . Have the Burnpark line again here through Vans Escalade who goes back to Burnpark Sally the matriarch of much of the Burnpark and Dalacsh lines.

I'd love to hear peoples thoughts and ideas about breeding champions !

Just looking at the breeding of anton, some of their own stud dogs in the mix but the amazing thing is its dowling bitches the whole way back to the 1950's. That's some going.

Pestana has a VERY interesting pedigree link
It comes via Flying Penske and Kinloch Brae, but more significantly via BJ's Justin and Grey's Julianna in their respective pedigrees. This is how they match up.

CLICK HERE
What is also interesting is that this combination has been found in Australia via a VERY good litter which included this G1 performer.

Cant ignore arguably the biggest cross in Ireland the last 10 years David Staplers Jo through Larkhill Jo (Makeshift). Doubled up with Phantom Flash/Larkhill Jo (Tyrur Rhino). Id love to see Ballymac Best over the right Fabregas bitch! Been trying to get Best out here to no avail.
