Its a sad state of affairs that national broadcasters will accept as fact dubious reporting of the animal activists regarding the disposal of ex race horses at knackeries. This weeks disclosures of the deaths of named animals is being shown for what it is - crap. One by one, horses that were supposedly slaughtered are turning up enjoying retirement in loving environments. Do the broadcasters follow up their original sensational reporting with a correction - Im still waiting to read it.
The problem is that certain sections of the media give these vile protagonists a platform to preach their idealistic bullshit.
