Give away as many breedings as possible and you should succeed ....

DO NOT Over price your Stud dog or you will fail

Smart marketing will always get you the numbers you need to either fail or succeed ..

He definitely deserves his chance at stud. If he throws anything like his half brother Aston Dee Bee you'll have some fun with him. Being by Go Wild Teddy (barcias father) you just never know, he might end up being better

I agree, brood owners understand you have to cover costs, but the cheaper price point you can come in at the more services you'll get. And don't just give away straws to anyone that asks as such, sponsor a race where the winner gets a straw or something

Hard to succeed in this game and for a non commercial sire as Aston duke will prob be you'll almost definitely spend more money than you make but wish you all the best with him

If ADB hits his straps as a sire, you might be able to ride on his coat tails.

What are people's thoughts on a starting price?

A few ideas to mull over
It is a numbers game so play hard or dont play at all is my moto

Free Vial to the first 12 bitches on season only .

Offer a service fee for 20 broods only with a one pup buy back for the price of the service fee this worked so well for Head Honcho .

Also you could look at a Breeders bonus like they did years ago with Buka sunset and Superman .

They is only one way to play the game and that is to offer something others do not at present .

Free straws until his first winner!! Great incentive to get some more Duke's on the ground. This deal won't last long knowing how his litter in Tas are progressing.

Great dog, great pedigree and dont see why he wont produce. May even want to look at the overseas market which is not flooded with Aussie sires and could attract more interest. I think they are looking at more outcross sires the same as we have but dont have as many options. HH certainly made his mark in Ireland. Not sure of costs so may have to up the fee slightly to cover costs. Good Luck anyway Simon. I like the dog. Cheers
