Traralgon has been closed for 2 weeks for a deep harrow with no guarantees it will reopen after that. No word on Cranbourne. So lets race more often at Sale and Warragul so then no trials available. Makes life tough if you live east of Melbourne. What the hell is going on? No wonder Clayton got tapped on the shoulder.

It makes sense there is a big carnival at traralgon race course over the next 2 weeks as well as the monster trucks ...which would on interfered with racing anyway so why not use this time wisely and have the track set for next little while
I totally forgot about the carnival and monster trucks until my autistic brother said this is why they would do it now

i see that traralgon is still on hold, safe lure , surely the loop lure is the anwser with a light weight arm.
EXTERNAL LINK Very interesting article on Richmond straight track. Id love to see what the early stats are like at Traralgon as I think well see something similar.
From what Ive seen so far Id be very reluctant to race my bitches there in the future as most of the winners seem to be 30kg plus dogs.

From my long time experience, big dogs are generally suited to straight racing more than bitches. You will get the exception for a bitch, as I have found with the two I raced. Unfortunately, no straight track racing in their time.

Another meeting has been abandoned at Traralgon due to lure malfunction. This should not be happening with a brand new track. Who is being held to account?

What was wrong with the track tonight at Traralgon to cause abandonment? It was sunny albeit windy most of the day so it shouldnt have been to wet?

Traralgon races abandoned again tomorrow, this time due to lure issues. This J track is becoming a joke. I had my dog in for a 450 race in preparation for next weeks cup heats, what do we do now? They need to pull the joint down and rebuild it again for a 3rd time with two bends and a lure the dogs can bite onto!
