Going forward stud handlers will be expected to pay 350 / 420 euro per stud for advertising! I thought thats what I paid the gold membership for! Those with a stud farm are able to off-set any expense incurred against tax. But for someone with a dog whose offering an alternative to avoid saturation is getting stung. Anyone who stands a single dog at a couple of hundred / euro knows that costs arent covered. The divide is getting wider all the time. Thanks for that Data. We only have to look at how things have gone, just look at test mating for non members. My membership ordinarily goes out automatically but I probably wont be the only one reviewing this.

Hi Mark, the sire Pages are still free the classifieds are still free. Unfortunately the website costs money to run and the 350/420 euro is cheap for advertising a stud dog. Please tell me where you can advertise to a world audience for less money.

Hi Tony, so the plan is to charge for classified adverts as well is what youre saying. Is there anything else that members need to be aware of going forward.

Hi Mark, where has anyone said we are charging for the classified pages?

If you choose to pay 350 GBP for a year your stud dog will be listed here:

Nothing else has changed. I am sorry Mark if this has caused any confusion.

Hi Glen, that's true but I would like to think GD with 270,000 members in 61 countries offers a bit more information.

Facebook alone has 2.9 billion monthly users so i think its much more value for money.
Thats without looking into Instagram and twitter and the rest.
You asked a question so i answered it for you.

You certainly don't see Facebook supporting and sponsoring the industry like Greyhound-data does. Let alone providing this incredible resource for free. Look after the businesses that look after us, it's the least we can do. GD is a family based entity with the Greyhound games best interest at heart. Facebook is downright evil. I know who I'd rather put my money into.

Yep & how many of them are interested in breeding greyhounds to race?
You would be paying for a target audience of like 0.00001% of that...
alot of wasted advertising budget

not to mention facebook frowns upon the selling of animals & lifestock .. it just leads to facebook bans.

GD... love your work guys

Obviously you`s don`t like the answer but hey.

I`m not personally on facebook, but thought Tony`s question deserved an answer.
