This isnt by a long way not a potential commercial mating but one that ticks a lot of boxes for me knowing the broods positive and negative attributes as well as the sire
Time is running out as she is a 2015 whelp but has never had a litter due to circumstances of mine not the bitch.
Interested to hear others views and or possibly options for a litter to be whelped by another party ( Im unfortunately still not in an ideal situation the whelp a litter)
Cheers

Its a sound mating.

No Easy Beat? Not hard to see why...famed Kiowa Sweet Trey / Flying Penske cross, Barcia Bale well proven to the dam line (Beast Unleashed, Barcia Blue Boy, Mr. Beets etc) and so on....

IMHO The best dog in Australia for this bitch is Aussie infrared. Aussie works best re-invigorating tired bitch lines.

G'day Ben, I can see why you would and I think it would have to be worth a shot.

It's just a matter of difference as to what Flying Penske brings to the table instead of Knocka being the point of difference.

I'd go for it, or put MS over her daughter if you find something else.

And there it is in a nutshell. That point is really well stated Simon.
Is the 25% difference in the pedigree going to make the offspring better or worse than Sulzanti ?

Knowing how fast Sulzanti was, logic states the window of opportunity is far less to produce a better one than Sulzanti by altering his pedigree by 25%. If Sulzanti was a country dog or bordering on city Grade 5 then your percentages may be a lot better with the 25% pedigree alteration.

I believe this point is where breeders may let themselves down more often than not.

It's not impossible to produce better than Sulzanti, but the odds are very much against you doing so.

This one will show the importance of a dam sire or it being the first port of call, before the rest of the pedigree.

I owned a bitch Nothin To It, who was a low graded one paced moderate city class bitch. A giveaway bitch at the end of racing. But, worth breeding with in my eyes. I put her first to the obvious Just The Best. Then gave her away, as I was in the process of moving to London. The litter turned out no good.

She was then put still to the Just The Best sire line in Made To Size and produced a very fast dog in Another Size - https:/ CLICK HERE

Its so obvious the difference in the first two matings - the second mating catered for the dam sire, precisely how it was needed to be done!!!

The 3rd mating to Go Wild Teddy, again didnt cater for the dam sire properly and resulted in another nothing litter. So, IMO youve got to cater for the dam sire and what makes him work, before attacking the rest of the pedigree.

Your own Queen Of Scotch, Locked On Scotch litter Ben, caters for SH Avatar, every bit as much as the obvious reinforcement of Knocka Norris, which produced Dont Knocka Him.

Even away, from my suggestion. If you look at Flying Penskes best two second offspring, champions Ballymac Eske and Sweet It Is. Flying Penske as dam sire is very much catered for!

My best advice is to nail, what makes Flying Penske work first!!

Exactly right, as we have discussed many times, you have to cover the whole pedigree , instead of trying to single out one feature and hope that the cards fall there

It leaves far too much to chance IMHO

I actually think Houdini boy would cover it much better

And from what I hear, there are some hot break ins of his
