I think Star has had fertility problems and was not advertised for a period of time, this may have affected his 2004 progeny, however he has thrown some terrific dogs as previously mentioned, is renowned for throwing early pace and any dog in the mold of Shelbourne Nina, Knockeevan Magic, Sycamore Dan, KNockeevan Hollie, Knockeevan Major or Buckland Wally i would certainly love,

I just had a bitch miss to his frozen semen, which made me look into when he last produced. Great breeding and great early pace, very surprised at only one litter in the last 12 years !

A couple of people have him advertised so you would be better to ring them for a price and he is on the sire page on this site.

Maybe he just fell out of favour?

Yes that could be right but i was told 2 or 3 bitches had been mated fine in the last couple of years but can only find 1 litter registered in 2012, nothing after that and nothing between 2007 and 2012, i may be just looking in the wrong place to find them. Just thought it funny that a dog that had fertility problems was getting bitches miss with frozen semen and wondered if anybody knew what his problem was and if many bitches were missing to his frozen semen as it is a great loss of time to miss again to him !
