Chief Havoc, Tumble Bug, Roccabrite, Georgeus Babe, in KB and SH Avatar bloodlines 8/12 Gen. Maybe that's why PAW gone to try Irish Coursing sires for a purer outcross. Hard to find a USA Sire with no Aussie Tumble Bug or Irish Sire Mutton Cutlet blood.
So maybe change Topic to best outcross Sire past decade with no Aussie blood in first 5 gen

Follow KB Damline to a bitch called Sketches. Checkout her blood. ( Yankee Doodle dandy, Whoops, Aussie Aussie Oy oy oy )
Off the map maybe but plenty of good Aussie blood is there.
IMO Why KB works so good with Aussie blood is his maternal Sire Fortress, that's the major influence for me.

The bottom dam line is US all the way back to when the bloodline is untraceable, it has both Australian and Irish sires introduced to it but I don't see that as stopping KB being a outcross. Sketches was whelped in 1959, I think that gives you more than enough fresh blood to achieve what you after when looking for a outcross sire.
Have a look at most Australian dogs pedigree and their will be the likes of Waverly Supreme, Grove Whisper etc. but they would still be a outcross to Irish lines.
Have a look at Brother Fox's pedigree and look at Copha Boxes, her sire is Full Irish.
Brett Lee had a Irish sire introduced in Come On Wonder.
In my eyes 7 or 8 generations with no common ancestors is more than enough to achieve the benefits of a outcross.

Which Chariot is the best example of outcross.
IMO Come On Wonder & Newmore King were both under used & under rated Sires to stand in Australia, both sons of Newdown Heather. Come on Wonder a litter brother to Dolores Rocket.
Five / Six gen with no common ancestors is good enough outcross for me.

Maybe good Aussie blood but irrelevant to KB's influence. Yes Fortress has played a role just as the brood below him and the two over have, the further removed the less influence. It can only take one mating to ruin a bloodline, however in KB's case and like 99% of damlines, its not in the bloodline because there is no concentration of any line to maintain consistency other than phenotype.

KB blood quota DOUBLE X ancestors I n 12 gen displays 52 names, more than half (29) are Irish or Aussie bred. How can they not have any influence whatsoever ?

KB Is not the major Yankee Doodle outcross that many may assume.
Brasch is correct.
