Chief Dynamite is from the same litter as two very smart young dogs in Victoria. Ride the Rails and Cosmic Station, very smart litter. Cosmic Chief X Pearl Napoleon. A few others are going very fast as well.
Chief Dynamite is in the first tonight at Bulli - Box 6

HI Fellas,, starting to feel good about my CC bitch MISS EUROPE,, "Cosi : is about to finish her pre training routine. Now we hope to see her trackside soon. Maturity and experience will clearly help her BUT could i say ,,COSMIC CHIEF is certainly showing us he was a great choice as a young sire. His fierce chase and keenness looks like being passed on . early days yet but just great to see progress all the way . Plenty early pace,,yipee ! chee rs, F.

Frank nice to see mate ours show plenty of the right stuff but I am starting to come to the conclusion of not rushing them I do think their a breed that may need a little time and not too much hard work ...these pups here remind me of what they did in the old days early a lot of trainers came unstuck because they had them in racing too immature because they showed natural speed and ability a lot of pups end up on the scrapheap by sending them in at the deepend they may go well for awhile but the depth of the opposition soon sorts their immaturity out ...speed yes plenty there stamina remains to be seen and chase not a problem

How old are they now John?
They'll leave your school with double masters degrees. :+)
I must admit I am more and more leaning towards taking a lot longer with my pups - but curious to know if you think it can go too far?
Probably easier for hands on owners to get a feel of their capacity for work.

The old timers usually used to race their pups with natural pace and speed on the bush tracks to gain experience before they headed off to the TAB tracks and city tracks
These days we wait a bit longer for the dog to age a bit, because a lot of the Sydney trainers don't want to travel
Some of the trainers that start their dogs off in the country are Jacky Roy, Andy Lord, Rod McDonald, Paul Braddon etc
Their dogs are toughened right up before they hit a TAB track

Brian mckivat is huge on starting most of his dogs at golburn to get the ready as its a big open track. I can see why as its good for their confidence while gaining race fitness!
smart idea actually like rugby league you play under 21's before nrl.

Fellas, i am very fortunate as a hobby owner to have a great rearer/trainer association. I trust them completely and am blessed to have our pups at Iona Park. Merrigum. I would be pretty confident to recommend C /Chief pups to anyone. We still have a way to go and remain very realistic of whats ahead, It's just pleasing to see the dollars spent so far seems justified. Time will tell, eh ! GO,, MISS EUROPE.. ps, enjoy your c/c stories John, good luck mate.

Hi Sean,
Owner Brian Parkinson is getting some fantastic reports from the breakers. The fact that business is still good through the cold months is also a very good sign.
Just booked in Group 1 winning star Miss Brook. The quality of bitches has been fantastic of late.
Hope to see more pups on the tracks very shortly!
