The mating looks like a very interesting one. There are quite a few double ups, the only thing is you'd be taking a punt on a non proven sire but sometimes such punts pay off. He definatley had ability but personally i'd like to have seen more from him

Spring Gun, too early Anthony to get feedback on temperament. He has a very strong damline so I would suggest you won't go wrong with that mating.
Gday Glenn , Have u seen the double of Black Shiraz work yet?
Been considering the double on a couple of occasions but been a little feared to try
Cheers Matt

Just put a bitch to him can't wait was a gun of a dog that people didn't get to see the best of!
No I haven't Matty, but there have been a few good ones when doubling Black Shiraz with his brothers....most recent example being Messi.

Just wondering what peoples opinions of his pups are like? To me it seems he is in the top five when considering a Bombastic Shiraz son as a sire.
Opinions appreciated :)

Hi i was talking to Greg Board his oldest pups are around 5 months and Greg said his litters are all magnificent types they are big and strong and the reports from all the breeders he is getting say the same. There is some pups for sale in the classifieds on here and there is a picture of some little ones.

There are 22 sons of BS currently standing at Stud in Aus at the moment. 10 very or fairly active. Spring Gun has served about 100 bitches in his first 8 months so plenty out there think he has plenty of merit. I saw him at Charmer Lodge 2 days ago and he looked relaxed and happy. Great looking dog with an intelligent head. If you're thinking of using him and then see him, you wouldn't ever consider changing your mind.

Has a Stud dog Owner anywhere, ever, said something different about their own dog? ;-) lol
[Ps, Karen; I actually quite like the dog and his Stud prospects, but I did have a good chuckle at your post. Hope you don't mind :-) ]

No I don't mind at all, but I did see a couple of litters at his place and they were nice pups and very friendly. Now just the wait to see if they can gallop like dad.
