Another great win at Sandown (Victoria) over the weekend to one I bred, "TWEEDLE DUMB", for Owner / Trainer Danny Cortese.
The son of Vee Man Vane x Wheely Happy ran a creditable time of 29.95 over the 515m trip; which was even more impressive when you consider it was the dog's first time over a distance beyond 500m. Best of all, he did it at both ends of the race, and looked strong to the line.
Really pleased for this boy's connections; who have seen their boy record 6 wins with 5 minor placings from 20 race starts to date .... and he's not 2yo for another month as well!
No truth to the rumour that the dog was named after his breeder, either!

I reckon his dam was named after you though AJ....
Meanwhile, I wasn't gonna brag but bugger it, I'm getting a bit tired of watching the replay after about 75 viewings so why not brag?
Jacqui Blax has been on the comeback since May. Keith and Lisa Hellmuth have shown the kind of patience and care with this girl that only true hearted people show. They are brilliant am I am blessed to have found trainers like this.
Jacqui Blax won her heat of the Laurels yesterday. Didn't jump brilliantly, probably because she hasn't been out of a box for a while. Got a few bumps heading into the turn but once she caught sight of the leader, it was all over folks. 29.46 thank you very much. With any sort of luck next Sunday she will take plenty of time off that. Go Lola.

Very pleased to report that Rapanui Reveller, a first starter from our Peter Rocket/Rockin' Along litter, won running away, first up today at Geelong. He is a half brother to Dalgetty, and several others from the litter are showing promise, so everything crossed !

It was a lovely run Carole, huge mid race speed, considering he got held up a bit as well and a huge run home.

Thanks, Richard. It was very exciting, and most of Soxy's winners have that mid race speed. Two others have had one start for a second and a third, so with more experience, we hopefully will have a lot of fun with this litter.

Looks like a big boy Carole. I keep hearing Peter Rocket pups are small but I know of a few 36kg+ out there. Loads of talent too....

Ours aren't small, Jamie, and the other one, Shreddin', in tomorrow at the Meadows maiden final, is around the 36kg mark. I left a note about them for you in scrabble, too. Reveller is about 32.3 and Rebel is around 33.9.

Well we rounded off the year of 2016 in good fashion, with 3 runners I'd bred all scoring at two of the last race meetings of the year in South-East Queensland.
Scoring on Friday night at Ipswich were our fella, LIL BIT SPARKY (Box 4):
Congrats to all Data contributors who have enjoyed racetrack success during 2016; here's to an even bigger 2017 ahead! :-)

Assaulted Pepper won her 3rd race today at Gawler. CLICK HERE She's on the bottom of the litter ladder still but with a bit of luck she can have a clear run of niggling injuries for a while and catch the others. 61 wins now for Rustic Reeta.
With Bessie Belle winning Sunday and Pepper winning today, I managed to turn a $150 bet into $4750......no point stuffing around with spare change lads.

In The Que the first pup from my broodbitch Taros Miss has won his first 2 starts in devastating fashion at Unibet Gardens at only 17 months old. He won the final by 6 1/4 lengths in 22.76 with a strong run home of 11.63. CLICK HERE By all reports there are a few others that are handy in the litter.
