Can we get a topic going on who bred this Maiden winner and the breeding data up for it.I have been here for over 2 years now and I still don,t know actually what success a breeder has or maybe their friends have if they,re not members
eg:
Tom Flannigan has had 2 winners from his Premier Fantasy x Lightening Bird litter
Tom has also bred Why Gunya from Westmead Hawk x Travelling Bird
Then when Tom has pups for sale as a breeder buyers know he is a small breeder with success it also would work the other way.
The reason for this is I see breeders like Richard W and Rob T etc with pups for sale and I don,t know what success they have had or even what winners they have bred.I know Rob bred El Galo,s mum etc but the lesser lights no ....Just a thought

Yes Matt, That's exactly what the thread is about, not for regurgitating the history of a breed.

By the way, what a beautiful little bitch and a rare DUN coloured one at that.

That,s it Matt you have the winner that you bred Today/Last Week now that gives people a reference...I can remember that little puppy from this very site.
By the way I don,t want to know before the win only after the win lol ....congratulations Matt

Ray if someone has bought a pup and it just won it,s Maiden they can put the breeder on this thread I think it would be good for country breeders also ....I must stress only Maidens because it gives other breeders an insight to what sires are throwing to what damlines etc we have our sire pages and some dam pages and I feel a breeders thread would,nt go astray seeing it,s a Greyhound Data site also people from Ireland and the UK can see what our studs are doing in the barn

John

I think you should restart the thread and call it 'I JUST BRED THIS MAIDEN WINNER'

Please advise and I will do it for you

I assume the 'current' "Tell us about your Winners" thread would then be about dogs you OWN, or to congratulate other Forum members on their wins?

I'm also unsure why the proposed thread is for Maiden winners.

My suggestion would be to make the 'new' thread about what we have BRED (and the 'original' one be about OWNERS).

How's that sound to you guys n gals?

The Wad :-)

Anthony it is great reading about the top notchers etc but to me every dog that races and wins a maiden have a Sire and Dam and to me there is great value in that
take Cosmic Rumble I read and follow him as a sire and it,s great to know he has thrown a winner in fast time at Geelong but it,s nice to know he has also got winners at Gunnedah and other places
Dyna Lachlan is another
and so many others
Matt McKenna wrote his Maiden in which is all that is needed
Say I buy a pup off you and it wins a maiden at Temora over 457m I just do the same as Matt and put you as the breeder

So is it about first start winners, or just dogs breaking their maidens?

G'day all

The 1st litter I've bred just recently started racing
with two 1st start winners and another at her 3rd.

Steve Natural Geel 400m 15/6/2012 1st
Woodland Jack WBool 390m 27/6/2012 1st
Lake Cosmos Rocky 407m 13/6/2012 1st at 3rd st

I must admit it was one of the proudest moments I've
had, extremely uplifting and I never had any money on
them just want them to get around safely.

Cheers Harmesy.

Read the first post.
A maiden win includes winners that break it at their first race doesn't it?? Prob the best maiden.
The post I put up has all that John wants...a maiden winner, the breeding & the breeder. What more would you want Kyleigh??
