Don't Knocka Him is quoted at $2200 in this month's CHASE magazine........up from $1100 last month.
Is this price rise correct?

I have a view that many stud masters had it too good for too long. Now you have to work hard and think about breeders to get dogs going bar the odd one that are pretty well guaranteed their 100 bitches.
Point is you have to work hard at marketing dogs here now and have to be prepared to think about breeders first.
Personally i think he was not getting bitches in big numbers and they got offers from China. Easier to take that money. But because he is now in China he is not available forever here so let's increase the price of straws. I think it is wrong myself and a case of wanting the best of both worlds but breeders will decide what is right and wrong with their decisions.
Personally I hope breeders support the dogs at stud in Australia and give them a chance rather than supporting situations like this. And there are others.
And I am on record as saying this dog was a loss and that if marketed well he would have been a financial success for those in control of him. But again you need to be prepared to work.

I do have Don't Knocka Him Pups They are very nice,Tall outgoing keen, hope they go well when broken in. I am so sad when more of our home bred dogs go overseas. They have a value more than money.

Hi Just enquiring about dont knockas offspring traits ? Not so much physically but more their mindset and day to day habits good and bad ! Strong minded ,forward ,outgoing ,dont take backward steps ,dont change personalities.......eg stay consistent in who they are from ages 3 mths to 12 mths I dont want to hear all great things , from who love him , Id like both sides please Ill give my own example I have a spring gun bitch , she is lovely and can run and I will breed with her , but her downfalls are a bit over the top in being excitable! Hence a bit in mature Lacks concentration a little also , is still young but ! Can be a little tentative aswell I was thinking of Dont knocka him but would like personal opinions on experiences you have had first hand ! Not stories or rumours
