what meal is the best for pups. they get a lot of meat etc but just wondering what is the best to mix it with

If you feed a lot of meat you must be a bit careful using both XL and Puppy Sapling as they are both based on meat.
I would use a lower protein nut (based on cereal) if meat is a major part of the meal and use supplements of calcium and multi vitamin mix.

Nathan what im feeding my pups and saplings at the moment is Excel, but i feed it dry and i give them meat mixed with bread and veg exc. separately. I wouldnt feed Excel mixed with a lot of meat it could damage there kidneys give them plenty of veg if your feeding high protein nuts and lots of meat and always make sure they have plenty of fresh clean water.

they are getting meat veg bread etc plenty of milk but wondering what the best kibble is to mix it with. at the min im using gain puppy and sapling to mix it with and they seem to be thriving. but just wondering what people rate as the better puppy kibble as its about a 30 mile round trip to get the gain but I can get the red mills about 1/2 a mile away from me. I don't mind traveling if the meal is better but if they are both as good as each other I could change to the red mills

Hi Nathan, I have used both with my pups over the years both are top quality so if u can get Red Mills just down the road that's the one for U.

Puppy and sapling hands down.........its definitely worth the extra few quid.........My pups just seem to do way better on that.....The Gain products in general seem superior

Nathan both are top class products just get the one thats handy for you. The best dog i ever had was reared on table scraps a dog called Roman Major he made hundreds of thousands of s gambling he never let us down once. : - )

If your feeding a lot of milk and meat,any cheap low protein nut would be grand.your meant to feed red mills excel or gain puppy and sapling on it's own.

Meat is not recommended to be fed with Puppy And Sapling or Redmills Excel but is milk recommended?or would it lead to too much calcium in the diet?
