im not a expert in any way but i would say her back is out only because if she had a infection she would probably be squatting to pee more often. if it is her back giving her grief it would be costing her lengths on the track.

:)

Aaah, the world has become a sour lemon indeed when one cannot find humour.

Joe my friend, your bitch may have a UTI especially if she urinates in multiple short bursts...maybe not. She maybe coming on season.
Its possible she has injured a groin. Maybe stomach muscle. Maybe she has assumed this is routine after one of the above and now does it out of habit.
Maybe its something else...
Only one sure way to find out...urine and blood tests.

Yes, a bitch not going down can be very frustrating...

Joe we received a 10 month old pup back from the rarer that had a similar issue . She would urinate standing up like a cow I always suspected she had some sort of lower back issue but with x-rays and vet checks we could never pin point the issue.

Very frustrating when you can't find the cause....

Has she always done it Joe or just started...

Joe, sometimes if the pelvis is twisted, this will affect the nerves in the lower back and sacral area. It can also affect the muscles in this area, including the hip, triangle, and muscles from the groin to the stifle on the inside of the back legs. This can make it difficult for the dog to move its lower back area normally. This misalignment can occur as the result of a fall, or another dog running hard into the rear of the dog. It will affect her galloping action and therefore loss of time. We have seen this quite a few times and can be corrected by manipulating the pelvis. Send me a PM if you want. Good luck.

If her urine is normal colour, normal amount and is constant flow until finished then I'd say she's got muscle issues or pinched nerve in back etc, especially losing lengths on the track. Could also be kidney infection causing more pain when squatting. I'd get her to the vet asap as either problem would require prompt diagnosis. Cheers.

I repeat you Poms only get a sense of Humour when you get deported for stealing a loaf of bread .
Over the years of refined breeding with convicts .... the pommies brain finally understands its ok to take the piss out of people ...

.Humour is lacking in most poms but thats ok we are Aussies we know how to tread lightly around all new arrivals and look at our Irish Lads they have no problems at all understanding our lingo ,,

Mick you must have some good pommy irish American Aussie Jokes you can tell Joe .

If you complain all the time Joe then no kid will play with you and you will be left standing outside without anyone to talk to but then again you know that .

so you really race Jack Russell Joe so that explains your simple post above ..

Sorry my old Jack Russell died yesterday she was put down 17 years old but she could run like the wind .and i find it very hard that a weak Pom Jacky would even keep up with a Aussie Jack Russell we breed them tough here Joe unlike you pure breeds over there we have out cross blood so we have longevity and stamina unlike most imports these days .lol

I blame Mick and he was the one who started this so maybe he is into water sports more than me and i know Mick was a great water Skier in his day ....lol

PS
My Wee coat ....hahahahaha now thats funny

My Wee hat ...hahahah that cracks me up also ....Hey Mick have you got a Wee coat and a wee hat like me ..

Joe i was 127kg of pure fat ...Now i am a wee man at 98kg ...looking to be wee smaller at about 90kg over the next couple of months ....I guess you could call me WEE KEV now old joey boy so send me over your spare wee hat and coat will yah Joe and you would have a few spare wee coats sitting around your kennels would yah

Hey Joe she had a great life she used to run miles around farm land hunted with my other Jack russell and poodle and spoodle over the farm lands around mid Victoria ..for 15 years
I had a great friend who wanted to take care of her i lived over the road and she spent thousands on diabetes shots and blood test over the past 12 months ..

Suzie spent her last night in the arms of the one she loved she was blind deaf and that final night she had lost all back leg movement so the time was right to send her over the golden bridge she told us it was her time to go and she was happy in Ann's arms all night my good friend Ann has a pure heart of gold ..
17... not a bad innings in any ones book ..

Yes Joe .... Mick sleeps in so he must be almost showered and ready ...
