Could anyone tell me how soon would a bitch come into milk prior to having pups. I have a bitch that has had milk for 2 weeks and she's only due today to have pups but no sign as yet. She's not very heavy so if pregnant, not having many pups if any. I just think the milk situation is quite unusual !!!!!!

If she was mine I would be getting her x rayed as soon as possible,if she only has 1 or 2 pups she may not go into labour, pups die inside and you run the risk of loosing the bitch.I wouldn't be taking any chances.

Thanks Julie for your reply. I'm taking her to the vet this morning.
