Hello

My sister is training a bitch has been having issues with her white blood cell count

Currently shes sitting at 3.2 & needs to around the 4 level

A number of vets have tried a few things but nothing seems to work

Previously she raced very well when bloods are right (around 4) but those levels dont seem to hold too long & her form naturally tapers off ...stress is an obvious factor

Any help/suggestions would be much appreciated

Cheers

Shane

Thompsons Astraforte should help. 1 to 2ml in a nightly feed should pick the white cells up in no time. Alternatively you could buy Astragalus powder but dosage wise not sure but i would guess 1g daily odd. If you need to use it long term it would be the cheaper option.

Vitamin C is excellent for raising white blood cells.

are the red cell readings ok? Maybe she could cut out all additives & not trial or race for 2 weeks & then get a reading.-Just good food & no stress.
