Congratulations to Glen and Robyn Goodwin and their greyhound Velocity Liberty on their victory in this prestigious Group 1 event. A well deserved victory to these dedicated greyhound people.

Dido Ray.
Great salt of the earth people who have looked after me & the missus twice in their little side unit, when the Dapto Auction was running.
A little story about Glen & Robyn. I like to pay my way. That's me & a couple of times during these visits to the Auction I tried to give Glen & Robyn money for their hospitality, but they refused every time. They were just happy that we excepted their invitation to visit. Anyway, I hatched a plan where they could not refuse my jester & placed some money in the fridge, in the unit the day they both drove us back to Mascot Airport. On the trip in, I stuck up a conversation about the fridge in the unit & told them that it wasn't working properly, & advised them to remove all the food (that they also supplied for nothing) before it went on the nose. As expected, I got a phone call when they discovered that in fact there was NOTHING wrong with the fridge except for some money on a plate with a note stating "Got Ya".
