Got any slippery elm tablets/capsules, Tony ? They are great for simple diarrhoea. They can be bought at any chemist shop. Give two to three tablets every time she scours, and it usually clears it up quite quickly. Take away any milk, and as she will be losing fluid by scouring, make sure you put something like Vytrate in her drinks, as she will be losing electrolytes as well. Make sure her meat is fresh and not going off, too.
Peptosyl can be bought without going to a vet, and vets sell scourban, which has antibiotics in it. Good luck.

Surprisingly, plain, unsweetened cooked pumpkin can help with both diarrhea and constipation. You can give your dog plain canned, pured pumpkin or fresh, cooked pumpkin. ... If your dog has diarrhea, the soluble fiber in canned pumpkin will help absorb the excess water, resulting in firmer stool.
