Surprised Carole hasnt suggested a remedy for you Jason

Only thing that I can think or offer which I think isnt or mighten be enough is b1 natures own 250mg
1 tablet morning and night

It helps calms nervous or stressed Dogs a heap , takes a couple of weeks to kick in but it definitely takes the edge off them and is all natural and doesnt swab

With the use of rawleighs antiseptic cream on nose with a barking muzzle placed on for a few hours , it works wonders on wounds

Good luck cheers

I have been thinking about it, Nathan !
Jason, is the sore on his nose caused by wearing a racing ( wire ) muzzle at all ? Hydrogen peroxide and aloe vera gel ( from the plant,) are also very good healers, and have a very bitter taste, which the dogs don't like licking. Also, does he have a brown stain on the sides of his mouth where he constantly licks it ? If he has, it could mean something else.

Nathan, it can often, but not always, be a sign of a throat infection/tonsillitis, or some liver trouble.. We have seen quite a few of these over the years, and if the dog has a problem with its health or racing form, these things are well worth looking into and getting fixed.
