Hi. I have a young bitch who is constantly panting. I understand the heat lately will have a massive effect on her but even when it is cool and she has been on the lead no more than a minute or 2 she pants like she's just had a gallop. I have been trying to qualify her at henlow but her times are just to bad to be true. always looking like she is not striding out 100% (checking up) but I get her treated regularly, and she couldn't look any better in coat, also eats well. any ideas?

Richard, have you had a blood test done on her, to see whether she has any problem such as severe anaemia or infection, and also have you had her heart checked by a vet ? Also what electrolytes, etc,. are you giving her in the hot weather ? Welcome to the forum, by the way.
