Hello

How are you?

Always at the time of training or racing our greyhounds because the soil we have is sandy so that most of our greyhounds suffer from this problem, It cracks the skin between the paws.

Similar to the situation in the picture

Is there a suitable cream or treatment for this problem and what are the causes?

We sometimes use Mushers Secret, it may be of assistance with your issue.

Abdullah, they are sand burns, which can lead to split webbing if they get worse. Wash the feet gently to remove the sand and dirt, dry them, and then apply some hydrogen peroxide, 3 per cent, if you can get it. Put it on several times a day if you can, so that the splits heal quicker. Try not to run the dog again until the splits heal, which shouldn't take long, as HP is very good. Other products can help too, as Nathan mentioned, but we have always found hydrogen peroxide to be excellent.
Make sure you check the feet well after every run and treat any sand burns straight away. Good luck.
