You could try tridenosen or Kynoselen (but Kynoselen swabs for up to 96 hrs so be careful) or a number of forms of pottasium, be it beta K, slow K, KMAX. You could also try some amino lite or coforta/foliphos. I sometimes give 3ml of Amino lite, with 2ml foliphos, and 2mls tridenosen - slow I/V injection 24hrs before a run.

Adam, what electrolytes/kidney flushers/neutralisers is your trainer using ? Also, have you had the dog's blood tested lately ?
I did some searching, Adam, and if I have the right dog, your trainer has been having cramp problems with him since at least August last year, and again today. You have to work out the reason for it, which is often obvious, if you know what to look for.

None that cause cramping, Ian. We use Vytrate and Aminolite 34X. No flushers, no neutralisers, no cramping, and keep an eye on their bloods regularly.

I've never got a cramp whilst drinking beer in a pub.

Maybe, beer is the answer.

Still slobbering over the top half Caz.

I can't see the bottom half of me armour as my guts are in the way. It's itchy down there though :-)

Yea I think you know the dog.
He is going really well except for the cramping
We are going to try a diet change
As well as a blood test

Adam if you want something that is not expensive and quite natural then Cider Vinegar a desert spoonful in the food every day I find it works, also it is good for other things the skin keeping fleas and worms at bay etc, also bicarb of soda a teaspoon ful; day before the race and on the day of the race, both can be used together.
