Hello Ann,
here are the instructions from the operating manual for the Sayrin Laser
Sand Burns: time - 10 mins application - 660nm frequency - 635 Hz
Treat twice a day, continuing unti clear. -----------------------------------------------------------------
Tendon Injury - mild case: time - 6 mins application - 950nm frequency - 19Hz 3 treatments, 635Hz 3 treatments, 4.8k until clear
Treatment should be 12 to 24 hours apart - for 6-8 treatments. ------------------------------------------------------------------
Tendon Injury - chronic case: Treatment may be required for a considerable period if severe. If a swelling ia observed when the dog is brought back, then treatment was terminated too early.
time - 10 mins application - 950nm frequency - 4.8k
Treatment should be 12 hours apart for 2 days, then 24 hours apart. Minimum of 12 treatment and 3 to 4 month if very severe. ------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm using a Sayrin Laser for my own and know what I'm talking about.

Ann,
skin contact is necessary when treating, and if required, the probe can be held in a static position. However, when treating cuts and wounds it is advisable to hold the probe approximately 1cm away from the tissue (the probe with the five visible-red diodes is suitable for such treatments)
Don't use any contactgel or cremes on the dog whilst using the laser. This will demage the laserdiodes.
Points to note: Reaction to Infra-Stim may not be noticed until several hours after treatment. There may be a slight temperature rise during treatment, but this will not affect the greyhound.
There may be what is termed a 'reactive phase' where the injury may appear to worsen, especially in chronic conditions. This is quite normal.
Do not treat viral infections and pregnant animals.
The greyhound should not be rushed back.
Good luck.

Hi Murray,
I'm sorry, but I dont know that type of machine you are using. There are too much on the market.
I use my Sayrin Laser aswell to acupuncture my dogs. For example I take the acupuncture points for pre-race tone-up and treat the dog 24hours before his race with a frequency of 635Hz for 10 seconds each point.
I hope this will help.

Hello Murray,
I only use the manual I've got with the Sayrin Laser unit. The markings of the points are different to that markings you wrote, but I guess we are talking about the same points.
I had a phonecall the other day with my physio, who is also building the units, and he told me for his experience the pre race tone up points are working on 8 from 10 dogs!! ( 8 points 24hours before ).
For my own dogs, 2 runners only, I can say that they are more consitent in trapping since I use the laser before racing.
Good luck

Have you seen one of the Sayrin lasers Jack because my guess is no. They`re different class to anything you have for sale and to say they`re LED red light lasers reinforces my guess. They offer exactly the same yours do and a lot more.
