Charles my reference to Wheat was with regard to this post - You need to read the thread to stay in context

Dale, we changed for same reason as Coarle (re wheat allergy) (poor boy got a sore bum, lol) Mind you, I was extremely happy with Hills SD and changed to Advance Active, I tried XP3020 mainly due to getting a couple more dogs and cost was hitting pretty hard and find them very comparable except that I feed a little nore XP than the other two.
And Carole, I pick mine up at Craigeburn vets when I go to the Meadows but will probably get my next lot delivered as the postage isnt that bad for a few bags

Used to get it from Craigieburn and have tried to get it to Kilmore / Broardford but never happened.... 4 bags a week, just use an alternative now.

Rich.

For those having trouble getting XP3020, if you ring Vicki on 0432 961 876 she will arrange to get it to you. There are a few options, you can pick it up at Sundown on Thursdays, Michael Bell has it at Craigieburn, or you can have it delivered. There are a couple of other "pick up" places, Vicki can let you know if one of them is close to you. Yes it is hard to get, but this is the only true Super Premium food available. All the others have changed formula and are not what they used to be.

$137 a bag delivered to Darwin... same price regardless how many bags ordered... and the fat content is too low for our climate anyway unless feeding high fat meat.
I'll stick with buying Black Hawk Grain Free (28% protein & 30% fat)from Pet Circle online... delivered to Darwin $123 a bag... on a 10 bag order.

Black Hawk receives a 3.5 star rating from petfoodreviews website, and they note many reports of digestive upsets. XP3020 is a 5 star rated food on the same website. Black Hawk uses vegetable protein (Oats and Peas) to increase their level of protein. XP3020 uses ONLY MEAT PROTEIN. There is no comparison between the two foods. XP3020 is now sold by Pet Pacific and it would be worth contacting them to see what their price is into Darwin. Robert Britton uses XP3020

If they could have organised more outlets, I am sure the product would fly off the shelf. Am over a 120km round trip to buy it....

Great feed!

Fully agree Richard - but this food has now transferred to Pet Pacific, and will become much more readily available. Unfortunately, the previous owners health is not good, so it will now be distributed by a National Pet Wholesale. Hopefully there will be a retailers much closer to everybody.
