Ray. Not trying to be smart here but would you mind explaining why Bekim Bale would be so much better than Hooksy in this mating?

In defence of Ray,s comment, the cross with Bekim Bale produced Space Star { not a bad dog }. It is always hard to select the right sire for your bitch. There are a lot of potentially good sire,s in the " market place ". I considered " Banjo Boy / Walk Hard / Bit Chili / Surf Mail " as well as Bekim Bale. I was going to get her mated to " Premier Boloney " last year , however she went off season I,m not sure that " Copy Cat " breeding is successful. In the end I chose " Hooksy " not only for his breeding and ability, but for the opinion " The Auld " family had of their dog. There are no more astute " Greyhound People " in the Industry.

Bekim Bale is the #1 sire in Melb, so he is wel and truly proven

Also as mentioned he is the Father of Space Star, who comes from the exact dam line of the bitch in mention

Hooksey was a Hell of a dog but he is a unproven sire against an unproven bitch

That's my explanation

Is this boy at stud yet, or will he be making a come back?

I'm super keen on using him on one of my girls, her line produced very well to EJ Douglas way back in her line, so I'd love to see if I can bring the line back to life with Hooksy!

Oh and how much is he going for?

Is anyone noticing his pups or chasers of late

They run with a style of super chase or keen

Kraken Lightning just destroyed a hot field at Bendigo
