What a stud dog from a limited number of bitches he is throwing top class and looks like he is going to make it all the way to the top. He is also a stunning looking dog. Congrats to all connections.

Mark
A Leger winner will certainly do him no harm. It should result in puma mating more bitches which will give him every chance of becoming a top sire.

I'm going to bring my bitch shelbourne Xmas oaks and clonmel open bitch winner cromac belle to him on the advice of a top breeder who believes he will be a great match as she's a droopys scolari. I think he's great value considering Skywalker Rorys St ledger win and the pups he has now hitting the tracks

Pumas half sister droopys kewell bitches are crossing well with royal impact line. See sunday sailor, skip glory and aero felony for examples. Sailor is out of his "niece" so to speak but is closely related. Id agree with what your decision

what a night for puma sat in SPK.
SKYWALKER RORY UNLUCKY AT FIRST END AND RAN WELL BUT HIS BROTHER WHOOSSSHHHHHHHHH 28.63 ON A TRACK MOST LIKELY 40 OR 50 SLOW, LOOKS LIKE A PROPER DOG HAVANA.

THE PUMA LOOKS LIKE THE IDEAL REPLACEMENT FOR ROYAL IMPACT WHO WAS SUCH A HIT AT STUD

TUCO DISPLAYS HIS CLASS IN STUNNING HAWAII EFFORT

Following his shock first round defeat, Skywalker Tuco left no doubts in anybodys mind on Sunday night as he produced a scorching run in winning Heat 2 in the second round of the Rural Hawaii @ Stud Open Unraced Stake at Clonmel.

This time the Michael ODonovan trained son of Skywalker Puma and Dame Iris broke with them and immediately accelerated to the front. He was already clear into the first bend with Kit Commando in second ahead of Riverside Tiger. There was no let-up whatever from the Ray Patterson owned Skywalker Tuco and the March 16 youngster powered on to win by eight and a half lengths in a flying 28.42.

To be fair his 2nd was every bit as good as his win, lost count of how many times he hit trouble ;-)

Mark his FS came out here around the time of the ban and in a pretty depressed market but he has 7 litters on the ground with another bitch just been inseminated.

His oldest litter is 14 months and one of the partners in that litter rang earlier this week and ordered another vial for a bitch on season

Also Wheelers kennels have used him three times, which is always positive

Not a flying start but those that have his pups speak well of them

I'm planning this mating as soon as she comes on ... CLICK HERE

From the IGB website:

TUCO COMES GOOD IN RURAL HAWAII UNRACED DECIDER

For once pre-competition expectations were justified in a major final as the 4-7 favourite Skywalker Tuco ran out a deserving and decisive winner of the 6,000 Rural Hawaii @ Stud Open Unraced final at Clonmel on Sunday night.

The meeting survived the weather which had threatened it earlier in the day and the track ran well, with a .20 slow rating for all races except the closing 790 where it was rated at .40slow.

Skywalker Tuco (Skywalker Puma/ Dame Iris) looked to have the perfect draw for the first time in the competition as he wore the red jacket and he certainly used it to his advantage. The unbeaten Rural Brae, owned by the sponsoring ODwyer family, led in the early yards but was closely pursued by Skywalker Tuco on the run-pup.

The race was won and lost on the opening bend as Skywalker had the inside line and he bumped Rural Brae which resulted in the latter losing considerable ground and he lost his chance.

Skywalker now led by two lengths down the back from Droopys Floral and the gap reduced slightly when the leader appeared to check slightly around the bottom.

But he was quickly back in full gear and stretched up the straight for a three length margin over Droopys Floral in 28.85 (.20 slow). It was another length to Kit Commando in third.
