Graham,I will need to look at the studbook, Pat Dalton was the owner of dam IMO but did NOT breed the dog. Got it now - James Lyne also owned dam. The Ship won five from six here before Dave Cahill bought him.

Derby post war and not too difficult we hope. I was first to break 29.00 seconds for 525yds. 10,000 was reputedly offered for me, I had strong connections to Co. Tipperary. With exception of one hugely influential brood I left nothing of note at stud.

Pretty near Anthony Bah's Choice did break the 29.00 seconds first but it was in a trial I think, Quare Times I had in mind.

James posted "What connects, DROMIN GLORY, WE'LL SEE, CLONMANNON FLASH"
As you know they are all the second offspring of Shannon Sister. Dromin Glory was bought in Ireland for about 500, he initially was sent to the wrong kennel - trainer. I saw him run a few times but one that really stands out in my mind was 500 to the winner invitation race at Harringay, he was not well away as Happy Sailor shot clear. D.G. cut through on the inside at the first bend and showing unreal pace passed Sailor on the outside to on to clear lead. John Bassett trained it although Glory did win the Derby that year Bassett did with Lucky Boy Boy. Clonmannon Flash was on fire in second half of 1965 and won 7 or eight trophies. Well See was also in my time, I do recall him running but little else. Mugs.

O.K. Bitch here, I was bred in U.K. From an Irish sire I left the U.K. for OZ in the late 1950s as a young bitch. I was to become one of greatest bottom lines influence on Australian sire lines.? My U.K breeder was one the longest acting Waterloo Cup judges - hoping down under have not yet come on line.

Another U.K. import to Oz, a stud dog this time from "Shannon" Line prefix but before Shannon Sister. Carries a cross to it in top and bottom line. Very influential. Giving you convicts nothing more lol. Mugs.
