Change questions mode. ( Its all fun )
a) Where on a greyhound would find the Hamstring ? b) Where is the Whip / Pencil muscle ? c) Where is the Pin muscle, what other name or nicknames is known by ? d) Where is the Saddle muscle? e) Where do you pinch quick to check hydration of dog d) What is Pannus ? f) Gums look off colour, when pressing on gum then release pressing colour or gum is slow to return to pink colour. What does this indicate.

I'll give it a go Graham, however, it may be rather brief and not too anatomically specific i'm afraid ...definitely open to being corrected and or "shot down".
A. Back of hind legs B. Front of hind legs C. Upper Front legs -(Tricep, Egg or Monkey) D. Trapezius - Base of the neck/top of leg/shoulder E. Pinch the skin on their back or top of head - if hydrated it should "spring/snap" back. F. Chronic, progressive disease of the eyes. G. Could be a number of things - but in a healthy dog normal pink colour should return within 2 to 3 seconds after pressing, if it is slower then it would indicate a possible health issue.

I'm a Dam who threw a track record holder at Wentworth Park.
I also threw a bitch from that same (TR) litter that has become a "Brood-Bitch" legend.

Cigar
I'll never forget it. I was talking to a great friend. The late Bobby Biddle on the Monday when SL equalled his own track record and he said (on the phone)..... Gee. Surf Lorian's not much chop. He couldn't even beat his time he ran the other day.
Good bloke Bob. Loved cooking a roast.

Steve,
I remember it pretty clearly as well. I was back in Australia, my wife, a very good friend and I were at Albion Park on the Thursday, mainly to watch Surf Lorian.
I recall the moment he crossed the line I instantly looked down and across to the semaphore board to see the time - 29.73! "he's equalled the record" I said, my mate inquisitively looked - "are you sure, and how do you know" ...my wife replied -" because he's a bloody Greyhound anorak!" ...and I unashamedly still am!
