In the original running the lure broke down and was declared a no race
All the dogs in the final had to race again the following week and I think quite a few of them missed their Australian Cup heats because of it
Riviera Tiger won the Cup in the re-run

Who am I?
I'm a dam who raced but never won a race.
I ended up being a prolific city producer who also produced several individual Group winners. One was an Australian Cup Winner.
My full brother was a champion sire who broke numerous track records.

Re the oldest winner, it probably all depends on when the cup was run in the year, i.e. which day and month.
Me thinks Lady Tornquest may have been the oldest as she was whelped 1st June 1977, and won the Cup in 1981, but I don't know in which month the cup was held/run
Kuriarkin was whelped 17th September 1985, and won the Cup in 1989, however, the Cup was held in January so it would have him at 3 years and 4 months*
*(give or take a few weeks)
