I have nothing negative to say about F.B.
I used Bekim as an example based on bitches served, a lot of bitches helps but it does not guarantee success. As i have stated previously why would you pay $4400 for an unproven Wheeler stud when you can have Barcia who is kicking arse for $3300 ???

I would agree Barica is kicking arse and when you compare both stud fees he is well priced.

Isn't Barcia leading the Victorian sires list ???
How many DDO'S does Barcia need to produce for you Sean before you give him your tick of approval ???

So what your saying Mark is if a dog is leading a particular states Sires List he becomes a great sire take away DDO's litter to Crystin Bale and Barcias stats would look very grim.I think what Sean is alluding to is the fact that his stats on getting them to the track is poor to say the least

Good luck to fernando bale offspring!!! Exciting times ahead !!
Every breeder takes different attributes from sires to their broods!!! Stats can be erevalent in some areas and an endless debate!!
Every sire has an opportunity to throw that one super freak ...
Where's magic sprites ??
Where's cosmic rumbles??
Different sires provide different strengths and opportunities !!
Can't wait to see what type of traits FB throws !!!
It's all good

Sorry to hijack the thread but getting a little tired of the BB bashing by Shaun
That argument about the Crystin bale litter might have had credence when BB had 50 litters on the ground, to date he has 157 litters under 2 years of age.

To put that into perspective your favourite value sire Magic Sprite who is going quite well and running second on the vic metro sires list and first in vic overall has 345 litters born in that same period.

If you don't like the sire don't use him but your wheeler bashing is getting rather tiresome

Well said mate.

I think a lot can't wait till his pups hit the track. I think his outcross might put some fire in the belly of some Aussie broods.

Hi Kevin,

I time-rate the 2 city meets in Vic almost every week and adjust their times for checks and how fast or slow the track was on any given race night.

Adding 10 x DDO's best runs at the Meadows they averaged out to 29.532

Adding 4 x Fernando best runs at the Meadows they averaged out to 29.505

That's just my statistical data.cheers.

Black Magic Opal was Magic Sprites freak
Billy The Sid should have been a freak

But both sires are throwing pups where the majority can break a maiden, same can't be said for a lot of other sires.

but none of that has anything to do with Fernando Bale.

I hope Fernando throws some nice pups to a variety of broodies because $4400 is a ridiculous stud fee to pay for a first season sire, especially if you end up with nothing and get to watch the same owners and trainers have all the luck like every other time.

Its luck of the draw if you get a good litter or not ppl are going to fernando to try and get a dog like him and some are going to him because they liked the way he raced, for me im going to get a DDO strew because im a barcia bale and DDO fan and love both of there style of racing and the best thing is that the DDO strews arent to expensive
