I notice Fernando Bale is predominately throwing good "dogs". Am interested on peoples thoughts on if in general his bitches will throw? Am NOT knocking him as in imho he is the most potent sire Australia has ever had. Even moreso than the "super sire" Temlee.

Half the field in Magic Maiden Final.

I'm still struggling to understand the negative vitriol surrounding this incredible sire.

Another six winners at Wenty last night, including the two
fastest qualifiers for the maiden final.

Equally remarkable was that all four Maiden semis were won in sub-30 times - and three graded races as well.

This warrants great credit to Wenty maintenance people as well as all the trainers operating in very trying circumstances.

It also indicates the debt owed to FB, Barcia Bale and some Yanks to maintain the standards of the breed. And the Wheelers.

If only we could fix the numbers??? It's hard to see authorities doing much about that.

25% win ratio from 30% of starters, that's pretty handy. Plenty have made it through to the Semi's, pretty sure he'll play a big part in the final.

25% win ratio that you suggest is 2 winners from 8 heats. (2 divided by 8 = 4 or 25%)

25% win ratio from 30% of starters (19 starters) = 4.75 heat winners.

You better scrub up on your mathematics before you go on the TV show or they'll make a fool outa you Dixie.

Here you go....Maybe you can practice on the following.

FB won 4 of the 5 heats in the Shepparton Cup heat on Monday from just 11 starters.

Half the field in the final and in some incredibly fast times.

Fernando Bale's results speak for themselves. The best sire since Temlee without question

Going to be very interesting to see if many of his bitches throw on, as Rob Britton says alot he has seen are SHORT legged. And he has thrown ALOT more fast "dogs" than he has bitches from what i have seen.

7 heats of the Golden Eeaster Egg and 5 winners, in incredible times I might add. Including 2 Quinellas and a Trifecta.

Come all you Fernando Bale knockers swallow you pride and admit he's a champion both on the track and in the breeding barn.

Fernando Bale is the most "potent" sire since Temlee. The question i asked 'Jack' IS "will his bitches throw on?" I only ask this as Rob Britton has stated that alot of his bitches have 'no' legs. AND "most" of his FAST ones are "DOGS". Get your facts right 'Jack'.

If you look at most of the current top sires, they average around 30 for bitches in their top 100 progeny. Fernando is at 28 so pretty mucb close to that make. The biggest issue for FB broods might be finding a sire that isn't by him, my goodness their is a glut of his sons going to stud at the moment.

Epic hero won the Irish st ledger (group 1). He's out of a FB bitch. I wouldn't worry about breeding one of them.
