Well I thought I'd give Thursday night a crack and guess what, I got box 5.......wait for it......twice.
That's 8 times from 20 starts.

This is starting to stink a bit.

I know how ya feel bud, Jax got 6x6s in a row when I had him. My blood was boiling then, now Euro hope 6x3s & 5x4s I would love to get my hands on the master disc of the OZCHASE and so would a lot of others.I know what I would do with it.You've got good dogs with ability so they should get through it.

Yeah mate I'm happy just to get a run and whatever box that is out of, I really don't care.
But clearly this system is not 100% random.
I'd like to see SA take the lead and scrap it.
How many box draws do SA have to do in one week? 80-90?
Not many. Pull numbers out of a hat until a totally random software system is developed.
Its not just a box draw. It affects all the major areas of integrity, welfare and wagering.

Received reply from CEO yesterday that an independent audit is near completed and announcement on GRSA facebook site soon. We'll wait and see shall we, what they find.

Is the audit on the actual computer program?

In Vic they have done many audits on various things to do with the box draw but never the actual computer program until now.

We wait with anticipation!

Just read an some interesting Quotes from GRSA site on the OZ CHASE audit. that says that the audit is near completion, and a re-quote the system has NO MEMORY. No mention of side by side names. But added scenarios. So that if same boxes happened 6 or 7 times in a row the AUDIT you could bet London to a brick the result would be normal. So I won't be holding my breath ANYTHING will change.

The guidelines and the results of the audit need to be made public.

Without making available the guidelines , stating no problems were found is a waste of space.

Tom when an authority representative states if a dog drew 20 box 1s in a row or drew 20 box 8s in a row, it would be highly unlikely, but possible. Then if the audit found it happen 6 or 7 times in draws the codes would deem it acceptable to an auditor. It's a railroad job, this same person told me the system that had no memory, and my dog got 6 box 6s it was over a million to one for that to happen. So what are the odds of 20 box 1s.

Tom its still going on. Like everything in GRNSW takes ALONG time for any action...Rumour has it GRNSW no they have a major problem and its being dealt with internally on the quite...Anyone with half a brain only needs to look at the box draws to see there is a serious fault effecting integrity, Yet it still isn't fixed!

I was advised 12 mths ago by grnsw that the OZ Box Draw audit was being carried out. 12 mths on, still no information. it truly makes you think,1) has there been an audit? 2) what did the results show? 3) why are the results being kept from the public?

With a system that has so many participants are unsatisfied with and still no change to it, makes one wonder who is
benefiting from it ?

Hi sandro I totally agree but this system is taking owners out of the industry ihave had a owner recently sell all his dogs due to the state of our industry over all.It is frustrating I have always promoted the industry in a positive light bringing new owners in to the fray;but you do get to a point and start thinking negative because we are surrounded by it.It is only my genuine love of the greyhound that is keeping me here cheers

Box draws have been a rort since Adam was a Boy, the only audit that will rectify the problem
is a "WHO SLUNG WHO AUDIT".

Totally agree mark if it is not slings it is something else, but the gurus that control our industry come the heavy when challenged on such issues or we are labelled as perennial whingers. My grandfather always said if you don't have a solution to a problem don't complain the audit was always going to come up with this decision it stems back to the redraw button we here about

Got to laugh; you are just never going to convince some people. A Professor of Applied Statistics examined the results of over 29,000 races....not a novice who knows squat about stats .... not a hand full of races. Are you seriously trusting your observations over his conclusions????
