Not disputing the ability but has had some good luck/management.

Had a good draw on debut against obviously inferior opposition. Still got the job done impressively. Can't ask any more than that.

Next start was average to begin but used its good pace and took advantage of a fairly nice rails run. Got the win again impressively even though the opposition allowed him the room required.

Most recent win pretty much a repeat of start prior.

As he gets up in grade might not be able to get away with the small mistakes he is making early especially in full fields where a couple of opponents have good early pace and can stick it out.

Exciting to watch and wish I had one half as powerful.

This game is far too cruel some days. I certainly hope this dog is ok. It looked like he done a H***

Unfortunately the dog broke his hock badly & looks like he won't race again. Was about 5 in front & was on his way to breaking the record as they still went 24.96, Brett & Deb already seemed disillusioned prior to this but were devastated today.

CLICK HERE A nicely bred dog with plenty of speed and his dam Daydream was no slouch in racing and producing a pup but yes sad to hear that he won't race again

Thank you to everybody for your support for Hay Fergus. Unfortunately he has suffered multiple breaks throughout his near side hock and obviously will never race again. After having x-rays done this morning the vet said it is going to be a struggle just to save the leg. He is hopeful however that he can. He will be undergoing surgery today.

Best of luck with the operation.
One of my boys snapped a hock at Albion last week and has 9 pins and a plate in his leg.
I hope he recovers for you.
Never say never, best of luck xxx

Best of luck Deborah.

I ask....if people are using Shakey Jakey why would you not use Hay Fergus? Very strong damline.

Fergus is home now recovering. Thank you to everyone who has enquired about him. We have been inundated with inquiries in regards to a possible stud future. A decision will be made in due course but obviously for now we are only concentrating on his recovery.

We are pleased to announce that Hay Fergus is making a very good recovery. He has 3 screws, a metal rod and a wire inserted in his hock to hold it together. He has had a semen evaluation and his motility is excellent. He will shortly be available for stud duties and we hope breeders think seriously about using him because this dog was a freak. Just an incredibly fast animal. Breeders should also bear in mind that this dog never had a hormone of any type injected into him. His ability was all pure and natural. Thanks again to everyone who has enquired about him.
