Hay Honey makes it two in a row at Albion Park. Small fish are sweet. Four wins now from his very first 2 litters. No surprise really considering Hay Fergus is one of the best bred dogs in the country.

Another winner for Hay Fergus. Khanom Condo (x Bell Bailey) blitzes them at The Gardens. That makes it 5 individual winners now and a winner from each of his first 3 matings.

Another successful day out at Albion Park. From 5 starters, a winner, 'Took a Selfie' as well as two 2nd's and a 3rd. All from the Petite Rumble litter. Not a bad start to your stud career Fergus. Keep em coming champ.

A very nice recent mating for Fergus, 'Light of Athens' (Collision x Midnight News). The nice Broodies are steadily rolling in.

A real good week for Hay Fergus. From the Petite Rumble litter, Potential wins at his 2nd start running 22.75 at Albion Park on Wednesday. Today at Capalaba he gets a winning treble with Took A Fergus, Took A Selfie and Missy Fergus.
He has also had some nice recent matings.
From just 13 individual starters to date, 9 of them have won with a total of 17 wins.
Not too bad for a first season sire. Rumour has it he has some very nice ones coming along.

Also, Gambling Duke (x Rutland Jen) wins yesterday at Tamworth making it 4 winners for the day from 2 different litters and only 3 litters to hit the tracks so far.

The sire on fire. Another winning double today. Took A Rhyno and Took A Fergus win at Capalaba. That chalks up 20 wins so far from only 3 litters to race.

Keep pushing him Deb.
Actions speak louder than words.

I hope he gets a Group winner soon.

I don't want to ruin it or jinx anyone, but I've heard the same rumour about there being some nice ones on the way.

Manager Said (Hay Fergus x Grappa Girl) blitzes them today at Goulburn (race 4) pulling off a big plunge and running a scorching 19.72, just under 3/10s off track record at very first race start.
Also today his litter brother, Charlie Grappa wins his P.T running an impressive 19.96.
Five Hay Fergus litters to race so far have produced winners from every litter.

40 Pups of racing age - 10 have won a race.

The top one he has produced has won 3 from 37 and $7,600 in prizemoney (Took a Fergus).

Too early to tell but not sure......

Robert
What has 40 pups of racing age got to do with the price of eggs. How is Took A Fergus the best one he has produced?
The true facts are Hay Fergus has only had 16 dogs hit the tracks SO FAR. Of that 16, 11 have won races. Those 16 have come from just 5 litters and all 5 litters have produced a winner. The best he has thrown so far would at this stage clearly have to be the dog that won yesterday, Manager Said, just .27 off track record at first race start. The ones of racing age that you are talking about arent even named yet. Give them a chance.
Dont come on this thread giving readers misleading information in an attempt to sabotage a dogs career. No matter what way you look at it, Hay Fergus has had a fantastic start to his stud career considering the bitches he has been provided (no disrespect intended). He was a super fast chaser with an impeccable blood line. Whether he makes it at stud or not will be determined by the amount of good producing bitches that he receives. You are obviously an amateur so for your information it is the good producing brood bitch that actually makes a stud dog.
You wouldnt have a clue mate.

Hey Brett , Deb, I wouldnt get caught up responding to opinions like that. The facts are easy to find. Fergus is a magnificent animal and a freak on the track. A winner is a winner and hes producing a good number in his short career. The best is yet to come and Im positive they will. I brought a Fergus and Shoulders straw when they were half price. The Fergus straw was used on cool seniorita and those pups wont be too far from break in. I just wish Id brought another three. Cheers

Deb/Brett,

There appears to be a trend with some people to get on here and "rubbish" certain stud dogs. Ignore them and enjoy the ride.
Fergus will not disappoint connections with his current and future strike rate. Some group wins from some of his progeny are just around the corner. Good luck with him!

I haven't got any Fergus pups, but have seen a couple of litters of his in rearing yards at a mates place. they are big and outgoing pups and way too nice for Hay Fergus not to have some quick offspring in the future. Throws a magnificent pup
