Hi Faye,
So sorry to hear about Minnie's mother. RIP little girl xx

Minnie is very well albeit a tad over weight - LOL. As you may recall, I retired her after her 100th race whilst she was in great health and injury free.

Although she is now 6 years old she thinks she is 2 years old and still takes me for walk - LOL.

I am not sure if I will be breeding with her as finances are very tight at the moment but I know my trainers son really would like a litter from her so I may lease her to him if he decides he wants to have a litter. She is due in season in the last quarter of the year.

Hi Faye, thanks for replying.

I am not too bad although I did suffer a minor stroke last November and spent 6 weeks in hospital. I was unable to drive for a while but everything OK now.

Minnie is just as adorable as ever and in tip top form. I wanted to let you know that she is in pup to my former open race dog, Burnpark Brave. The litter are due around the 12th September.

I will hopefully post some pics once they arrive.

sorry to hear of your ill health but you sound well on the mend now.

exciting news Minnie is in pup to your own Burnpark Brave. I see he beat Tictac Gold in the Magners sprint final, Gold is now laying on my sofa.

I will keep a look out for pictures of the new arrivals

Faye,

I just wanted to let you know that Minnie had 6 puppies on Monday 12th September 2016 but unfortunately she lost one within a few minutes of it being born so has got 5 which appear to be fine and doing well.

There are 3 brindled and 1 black dog and a black bitch and I hope to have some pics within the next day or two.

best regards,
Maureen

Thanks Maureen! What a coincidence.I went to school in Enniskillen with a Maureen Day she was around 6 feet tall and was a very good athlete. She also went bowling with her father and became very good.We nicknamed her the longest day because of her height.Something tells me she emigrated to America when she was about 18. She would be around 65 now.Anyhow thanks for your reply and hope your feeling better.Funny enough i had a mini stroke scare about 6 weeks ago and was in hospital for a week.I'm ok now as they ruled out a stroke and think it was a viral infection.Take care.

There must be something about the name (although I am only 5 feet 8 inches) as I was a decent athlete when I was younger David, winning the 880 yards at the All England Schools Championship two years in a row and representing my county for several years at senior level. I was also a very good hockey player, playing for my county for a lot of years and for the East of England at under 18 level. I also played outdoor and indoor bowls for my county and represented the county at the outdoor National finals in Royal Leamington Spa on two occasions.

Those were the days!!!!

A couple of pics taken this morning. Pups will be 7 weeks old on Monday 31st October.

The black pup with the white feet and tip to the tail is the dog and the other, the one facing towards the camera in the first pic, is the only bitch.
