I was at Willow Park on Tuesday (March 1) picking up a pup.......and asked Mick if I could see Sulzanti.

What a magnificently built dog........not only does he carry highly desirable bloodlines.....he is sensible and yet still very keen.

I couldn't help but be impressed with his conformation and temperament.

An extremely quick dog......I can't see any reason he won't throw some nice types.

Your first mating is like any other common mating, it will either nick or it wont. A treble of Brett Lee wont necessarily mean he is dominant in the offspring as numerous other lines are contributing.
However your 2nd mating, breeding back to your damline may see more dominance via Queen Size, unless Dozen Oysters is more like her sire, then it might be up to the nick. Its the mating to do though.

Here are some snippets from a David Brasch Sire Analysis.
It is quite a lot but may help anyone who is interested in using him
SULZANTI At Stud
12 starts, SULZANTI won seven and was twice placed. He ran 29.47 on debut at Sandown yes, 29.47!
But he would run 29.34 not long after and then scorch to a near track record 29.09. His potential was there for all to see and it was only natural the Ennis kennel would match him with the best. It would lead to tragic circumstances.
SULZANTI went into the Sandown Shootout, a four-dog test of speed against the best speedsters about. SULZANTI never got to finish the Shootout breaking a hock an injury that would end his career.
There is no doubt in everyones mind what was destined for SULZANTI on the racetrack.
SULZANTI boasts a pedigree encased in speed, speed and even more speed.
His sire Magic Sprite (Brett Lee-Glamorous by Spiral Nikita) won 10 of his 11 race starts. His stud career has been magnificent with his glamour sons Black Magic Opal and Above All being multiple Group winners.
Magic Sprite was bred to be the superstar he was. His sire Brett Lee is a Hall of Famer. His mother Glamorous is a litter sister to champion Talks Cheap (a highly successful stud dog). This is the damline of Australian greyhound of the year Bettys Angel.
It traces to none other than National Lass another Hall Of Famer who is one of the worlds greatest stayers who has also establish a bloodline dynasty.
Scissor Queen, ( 31 starts 20 wins and 5 seconds) the dam of SULZANTI, was also bred to be a superstar. She won two Grafton Sprinters Cups beating her opposition at box rise just like she did in every one of her victories.
The daughter of Knocka Norris-Surf Queen is a litter sister to Victorian greyhound of the year Dont Knocka Him who won the Group 1 Golden Easter Egg. Another litter brother Knocka Down won the time-honoured July Maiden at Grafton and ran 29.80 winning at Albion Park.
Their dam Surf Queen (Surf Lorian-Queen Size) is a litter sister to champion Made To Size the Group 1 Winter Carnival Cup winner and Albion Park 520m track record holder.
Next dam Queen Size is among the legends of broodbitches in this country. It is a damline that runs directly to a bitch called Classy Zoom a full sister to the immortal Zoom Top (Black Top-Busy Beaver).
Its no wonder SULZANTI could run and run like the wind!
Ben George didnt have to wonder long before deciding on a stud career for SULZANTI.
So, what options are there open to SULZANTI at stud?
What lines should he be mated to in order to produce winners, city performers, Group stars.
SULZANTI is from the Brett Lee sireline and therein gives broodbitch owners some wonderful avenues for line breeding.
Bitches by any grandson of Brett Lee will be ideal to bring that legend race and stud dog into pedigrees 3x3 along the direct sireline. Of course, any bitches with Big Daddy Cool in their make-up will also be ideal. Bret Lee and Big Daddy Cool are half brothers and are already proving a wonderful nick for each other.
An interesting mating for SULZANTI could be to bitches by Tuiaki the son of Premier Fantasy who has as his damsire Trendy Leigh a litter brother to Brett Lee.
The fact Magic Sprite has as his damsire the Irish star Spiral Nikita is also a bonus. Spiral Nikitas sire Phantom Flash is a genetic brother to Westmead Flight. Both are by Flashy Sir and their dams are both out of famed broodbitch Westmead Satin. Thus it would make sense for broodbitches who carry Westmead Flight in their pedigree to be mated to SULZANTI.
This cross can be accessed via Westmead Flights two famous sons Sonic Flight and Larkhill Jo.
They are famously found in the pedigree of Fabregas, Westmead Hawk, Taylors Sky, Paddys Flame, Bekim Bale and his litter brother Heston Bale, Ahane Lad, Jarvis Bale, the brothers Razldazl George and Razldazl Jayfkay the list is endless.
Magic Sprite has as his fourth dam the famous National Dingaan the intensely in-bred daughter of Worth Doing-National Lass who carries 3x2 line breeding to the littermates Zimbabwe and Chief Dingaan.
National Dingaan is a litter sister to Derby and St Leger winner Little Denver. Magic Sprites famous son Above All is in-bred to National Dingaan and Little Denver. Thus it would make sense to reinforce this famous family by mating bitches with Little Denver in their pedigree to SULZANTI.
He can be found in the pedigree of stud dogs Addis Boy, Dashing Corsair, Paw Licking, Boris Reigns, Bretts Rival, Fenceline and Royal Riddle. Most of the best progeny of Addis Boy were bred on a combination of Little Denver and National Dingaan. Bitches with Royal Assassin and his brother Clearwater Boy will also suit as they will provide a duplication of National Dingaan. This can also be achieved via daughters of Premier Boloney.
SULZANTI is in-bred himself to the litter brothers Curryhills Fox and Curryhill Brute. They are from the famous Skipping Chick family and this family is notorious throughout the world for producing superstars when multiple crosses of Skipping Chick are introduced.
This family can be accessed throughout the world.
Curryhills Fox and Curryhill Brute have a litter brother called Skelligs Tiger who is found in the direct sireline of the famous and highly successful Premier Fantasy. Any bitches with premier Fantasy in their make-up can be sent to SULZANTI with confidence.
Skelligs Tiger is also found in Ahane Lad, Cool Performance, Fear Zafonic, Fernando Bale, He Said So, Jagger Swagger, Kelsos Fusileer, Milldean Panther, Taylors Sky, Westmead Hawk and Windy Millar etc etc etc.
The Curryhill boys are also a genetic brother to Daleys Gold. He was a shortcourse specialist in England who became a wonder sire of pace when retired to stud in Ireland. His blood can be picked up via Ahane Lad, Bella Infrared, Buckingham Chuck, Lochinvar Marlow, College Causeway, Digital, Droopys Kewell, Droopys Maldini, Droopys Marco, Droopys Scolari, Fabregas, Fear Zafonic, Fernando Bale, Hurruicane Luke, Kiowa Mon Manny, Late Late Show, Makeshift, Paddy Whacker, Paddys Flame, Phoenix Ice, Premier Fantasy, Return The King, Super Burst, Tuiaki etc etc etc.
The damline of SULZANTI is powerful and it brings in a multitude of options for broodbitch owners to line breed their females.
Knocka Norris, damsire of SULZANTI, is an important ancestor when it comes to mating to him. Knocka Norris will have a HUGE say on the success of SULZANTI at stud.
Knocka Norriss best offspring is the super bitch Punch One Out. She is bred on an identical pattern to Group 1 winner Unlawful Entry. Both double up Solve The Puzzle and bring in a cross of Token Prince.
Any bitches with both Solve The Puzzle and Token Prince in their make-up should be absolutely ideal for a mating to SULZANTI.
And, SULZANTI is crying out for a mating to bitches with Awesome Assassin in their pedigree. Thats because Knocka Norris has Awesome Assassins sister Goddess Of Fire as his third dam. Combining Goddess Of Fire and Awesome Assassin has already proven highly successful.
Knocka Norris litter sister Elite Oriental was a super raced bitch and has proven herself at stud. She has produced two sensational litters when mated to champion Bombastic Shiraz. This would mean SULZANTI must mate as many daughters of Bombastic Shiraz as possible. Its a natural.
A VERY interesting mating for SULZANTI would be to daughters of Stagger. This would bring in the litter brothers Knockabout Wok and Puzzle Prize. Stagger is the sire of Group 1 Temlee winner Dalgetty.
Surf Queen is the second dam of SULZANTI. She has been a wonderful producer. One of her best litters was a mating to English champion Fear Zafonic. There is a fabulous nick found between Surf Lorian and Fear Zafonic. This is based on a pair of full brothers being brought into the pedigree.
Fear Zafonics best progeny generally carry a reinforcement of the Skipping Chick family. His daughters are absolutely ideal for mating to SULZANTI.
Another option for the Surf Lorian aspect in SULZANTI is to link him with daughters of Velocette. This is the same link between the full brothers that is found linked with Surf Lorian and Fear Zafonic.
Surf Lorians dam Barrio Fiesta is also bred along similar lines to Brett Lee. Both are by a son of Brother Fox and out of a daughter of New Tears. Thus it would make sense to mate SULZANTI to bitches that have Brett Lee in the damline of a stud dog. This would mean broodbitch by such stars as Cosmic Rumble, Swift Fancy and his brother Smooth Fancy, Lochinvar Marlow, Oaks Road etc.
Daughters of Jarvis Bale (whose half sister Chloe Allen is the dam of legend Fernando Bale) will well suit SULZANTI with the multitude of common ancestors such a mating will link.
SULZANTI is an interesting stud dog.
He has one cross of Brett Lee, none of Awesome Assassin, none of Black Shiraz, and only the Skipping Chick line and Spiral Nikita as an outcross influence in his make-up.
That means he can mate a multitude of broodbitches. The Awesome Assassin aspect can be picked up via Collision of course but also via his sons High Earner, Smooth Fancy etc.
He should also do well when mated to bitches with DAUGHTERS of Just The Best in their pedigree.
There you have it SULZANTI, the awesome sprinter, the great looking type, with a pedigree to match. Hes just waiting for the myriad of broodbitches out there that should suit him.

Hi Ben interesting that this has been mentioned as me and a friend were only discussing using Don't Knocka Him over my bitch Cash Rules (which is punch one outs half sister) to introduce knocka Norris.

It then occured to me that Sulzanti can give me a very similar breed but just switched up a little.

He would just want a pup.
