He will fail at stud ! Theres a statement
He has served over 20 with the first 3 litters being in the last month of 2017 and still 12 weeks to go in 2018
Limited ability broods ?
This will be interesting how this pans out
His Sire has one of the best damlines in the history of greyhounds and his own damline isnt something to sneeze at either !
These 2 factors alone I would rate above more then half the top 10 current sires

Then we get into traits ........ from what Ive been told , he doesnt have to many crosses against his qualities in this area either !

Ill say he will make his mark early and his $1100 wont last long

Hes my next Sire , and I cant wait !

Ps His own direct damline has already thrown grp quality to Barcia Bale and Collision
Theres a quarter of the market covered !

Bit harsh to say he won't make it because he hasn't had enough quality broodies. I do agree that he's been underutilised, but here are the mating he's had:
*Punch it- Won 13
*Majestic Land- unraced
*Gerardos Girl- Unraced
*Senorita Abbi- 600m winner and already proven
*Black and Pretty- won 11
*Sara Lee Griffo- Lightly raced, but handy
*Features- won 9
*Silver Salute- won 12
*Strings Attached- Lightly raced, but half sister to Ando's Mac
*Fine and Fancy- Track record holder and proven
*Miss Bel Air- Had ability and proven
*Sidute- won 7
*Hot Patootie- Won 9
*Hot Dream- won 6
*Pobblebonk- Well bred
*Minter Bee- From a handy litter and proven
*Warren Place- Unraced
*Cashino- Well bred
*Spicy Peppa- Won 25
*Penny Maker- Won 24

If your right Robert then Ive just wasted my hard earned as I just purchased the last pup for sale (bitch) from the features litter which are seven months old. Looking at her and seeing her attitude towards everything I think you will be very wrong. This is a beautiful mating IMO and time will tell but Im confident he will make his mark as a sire and upgrade the bitches hes mated too. He will be better utilised when he gets some on the track. Cant wait. Cheers

Good luck with your pup Michael, hope it turns out to be a great earner, I like the mating with Features.

Ive got nothing but respect for the sire either, the comments above confuse the fact between BB having potnential and him making it as a commercial sire in this enviroement are very different topics. Great dogs and sires that just dont get a chance outside of the top 5 stud dogs and completely under utilised as they are not commercial for pups price etc. I would have thought Nitro Burst, Andos Mac, Moretira, Zamborie Brockie , Unlawful entry , Sulzanti and BB would be getting more broodes but they dont and fade away like ant sires before them that have been great like Kitty Lad, Bit Chilli, Elite State and cosmic chief basically low cost out if favour.

Good luck with BB mate but the owners and studmastrs are not getting a commercial result , if increase the price to 2k he will be luck to get a services a month

They are all good quality Mark for one reason or another and no where near in the category of being limited

If anyone had a handful of these bitches in their kennels theyd be doing well and in a positive position.

He will get his Grp win from this early batch by 2020 and price rise will be justified when it occurs ! it wont kill him

Its not about numbers at all , Fernando proves this , its quality!
After that, whether the market (Poeple )acknowledge this is up to them .... it clearly wouldnt represent if Blazin bomber failed at stud

Heres a question for you rob
Do u think magic sprite is a great and successful sire ? Hes had his numbers hasnt he ?
If you think yes he is , do u think he advanced the greyhound genetics in strength and soundness overall ?or more then not produced squibs that were injury prone?

My point is, is that you can measure success in many forms and in time periods
Saying failed stud dog coz he didnt get thousands of offspring is incorrect
This way of thinking has to change , its short sighted and ignorant

There are plenty of sires who have had the numbers on record and I wouldnt call them successfull at all ! Just because the flocks ran to them with blindfolds on !

Blazin Bomber will succeed at stud whether its 50 litters or 300

I like magic sprite, but no he probably hasn't helped with strength or soundness. Actually think a sire like Blazin' Bomber will be very good with daughters of Magic Sprite because he will add strength and soundness to their speed.

It doesnt matter what you and l think - BB will be a niche sire for breeders as is the case today with many like sires he is not commercial for anyone including studmadter, owners or pups for sale, so in every sense commercially he will not work - commercially - .

If I take a purist view which l love, around assisting the breed and advancing the breed many sires such as Peter Rocket etc have done great work thrown group winners and could not have done more but cant get any bitched and fails commercially, I find this frustrating and would love to see more sires like this get their chance like BB . You need to figure out this is not opinion piece but based on fact sliding litters make it also impossible right now in oz and with he exception of only 8 sires is a battle for the rest of them to succeed commercially.

Yes Magic Sprite is a successful sire -

All the best with your pups , would have no hesitation in buying one myself from the right dam. His currently serving around a couple of broodes per month so tough to compete with the top end of town, would have to throw some incredible types in thus environment for those numbers to pick up which is very low probability.

I know they have to go on with it, but all the ones I know of have broken in easy and with a bit of ability. Smart pups that do anything you ask of them.

As I said it doesn't mean they can run, but it gives you a chance

Michael
I have a brother to your bitch, and he has broken in Tab class.
Very alert, fantastic temperament, good box dog, doing everything
right so far, can't wait for him to start racing.

Hey Ron, good luck with him mate, is a brindle or black out of interest. They are very alert and chase absolutely anything and she would probably be the smartest dog Ive had and I hope that doesnt come back to bite me. Cheers

He's black Michael, he was the last dog sold.
Interestingly, I rang up for the brindle dog but he was gone, but I
would'nt swap this fellow for anything mate.
Best of luck with your bitch. Cheers.
