Its just my opinion but if participants are serious about having an industry which is fair and kept in touch with the communities expectations these are the People that i would have to trust to drive our sport and industry in to the future and beyond,I do believe that they have our best interests at heart,we need someone in OUR corner
At The Orange Elections Vote 1 Fishers, Shooters And Farmers Party before we loose what is rightfully OURS

The antis had their protest / disappointment march today in Sydney. The media claimed they had around 1000 people there. . In the meantime, another segment in the media/ news had the NSW Gov't acquiring land in and around Waterloo for a new train station and development of land (of course). The media coverage suggested that two law firms have been engaged and allegedly would be receiving something like $375,000 per property acquired. That's a big mark up in any stretch of the imagination. Again, they are looking after the `big end of town'. . Don't let this Gov't win another seat in NSW for they don't care about everyone in this State ! Send a big message at the Orange Bi-Election that we don't want their governance. They are in the process of selling our Land Title Register which makes money for the State; to be spent on health, education, etc. . Kick them out ! Kick them out for good !

A nice little twist in Friday's SMH (29/10/2016) - front page news ! Ms Lucy Turnbull is heading up the new Greater Sydney Commission, which is a new strategy for Sydney's housing costs - to set aside 5-10 per cent of floor space for low income earners, when land is rezoned higher density. It's good to have friends in high places. . The Fish Markets and foreshore along Pyrmont Bridge Road, Glebe won't be too far away from re-development. . Kick them out ! Kick them out for good !

An update for the wider audience of people who don't reside in the Seat of Orange. The State and Federal Gov'ts have been `pork-barrelling' in the Seat and have been making election promises to the amount of $290 million. That's right ! $290 million dollars of promises. . They've been visiting to make sure they win the seat. They have spent plenty to get their Ads on prime time TV. We don't here of it when we aren't in the electoral seat. . Will Ray Hadley and Alan Jones be there ? Yes . A good amount of monies has been raised for the SFF Party's candidate, Phil Donato, but pales into insignificance when compared to the National Party's contribution to their campaign. . The newest survey suggests that the SFF Party and the Nats will fight it out, but it might come down to People Power and whether they want to be known for political change and for creating history. . If the National Party doesn't win, will the $290 million still be provided to the Seat of Orange ? Our monies are supposed to be spent fairly and wisely, yet they can't keep to any budget when many of their projects have blown out by billions ! . Wake up Australia ! Kick them out ! Kick them out for good ! . Vote 1 - Shooters, Fishers and Farmers Party

I saw on the National Party's logo the words, 'for Regional Australia'. . Really ? Yeah, only when they want and need our vote. .

The Sporting Shooters Association of Australia (SSAA - NSW Inc) is not affiliated with the SFF Party. . Someone has been speaking with the SSAA to gain its support and it's not the SFF Party. Strange, but clever. Never underestimate your enemy. .

It looks like Phil Donato will win the seat of Orange after preferences. Well done Phil. You and the SFF Party have done a great job in looking after, not only Orange, but the greyhound industry. No doubt the SFF Party will have some further input in terms of the structure of the GRNSW Board and greyhound industry. . Also, Mr Troy Grant was approached by the Hunter Express at the Forbes Booth and was asked when he was going to repeal the legislation into the greyhound ban ? The Hunter Express' photo was taken by the Deputy Premier's bodyguards and Mr Grant never answered the question as he was quickly removed from the booth where he stood for only a short time. . The Alliance was not sighted at any booths to help the SFF or any other party, one GBOTA helped and attended the after-party and two other GBOTA members were seen just enjoying the day. Other people came from far and wide to help the SFF Party at booths. . One fella rang the Hunter Express and asked him to play a Lionel Rose song, `I thank you', as his mark of respect to the SFF Party for the help they have given to support the industry. . In the meantime, the Independent didn't fair well, maybe because there was still a smell of the Nats attached to him and the people of Orange (seat of) wanted a fresh start. Strangely, the Greens went okay in the town of Orange, but that is where their challenge started and ended, and will most probably run last. . Well done to the SFF Party and the people of Orange for being brave enough to make change for themselves and to not accept the `carrot' that was dangled in front of them. . Now, Mr Grant and Baird, are you still going to give the people of Orange the $290 million that you promised them during the campaign so they can fix their hospitals, etc ? Is the Forbes Hospital still going to be privatised ? What about the council amalgamations ? What about spending billions of dollars in Sydney when some of the changes aren't required ? . Some words of advice, keep on changing Sydney at the expense of rural NSW and you will lose more seats in a couple of years time.

Mark: Baird has tunnel vision NSW starts at Liverpool and finishes at Hornsby. He believes the Greater Sydney area will be enough to keep him in power. Blinkers On.

Yes, my apologies - Christine and other `foot soldiers' were there and helped, and the SFF Party would like to thank them as well.

As counting was closing off tonight, the swing had gone slightly back to the Nationals .... although SFFP's Phil Donato was being tipped to take victory by a margin of around 1%.
Definitely "in the balance" still, but as the count numbers rise, Donato is edging closer to what "should" be a narrow victory.
Oh, not to mention the 36% "swing" against the 69 year "champions" ;-)

Preference counts can have strange results, in this case because not all who voted against the Nats preferenced all the other candidates - so some anti-Nat votes are exhausting rather than flowing through to the SFF. The main point is the (now) 34% swing. It means EVERY Nationals MP in the state is on notice, and could lose their seat at the next election. Regardless of who wins the seat, a big shake up in NSW politics has started.

With the Nationals soundly beaten at the Orange Bi-Election and Troy Grub Grant most likely to be removed from his NP leadership the tide has now firmly swung our way.
I hope those that are representing the Greyhound industry seize this opportunity to sink it right into the government now and demand our rights....no soft c*%k type negotiations and conceding on certain things.....OUR FAIR SHARE and equal rights.....
I think we really need Robert Borsak and Phil Donato to be advocating what we now DEMAND for our industry to prosper, cause the Alliance have proven they are too timid to DEMAND our fair share.
Exactly!!!! Everyone forget the alliance, they have had their fair crack (months) !!!For a a public result of what ??? A promise that can't be kept and a rediculous and unsuitable decision that most importantly is not in best interest for our industry ! Full stop !!! Borsak ,Ray and Alan are the only truthful speakers with enough balls and brains to finish what's needed !!also full stop !!! Everyone including the alliance can ramble and go round and round in circles on this thread and declare what they did ,this and that , WHATEVER!!!!The above is the final conclusion Thanku and congrats to everyone else who has shown the way and this victory at present !!
Like I said , there's a big difference from a game player to a game changer !!! It's obvious who sits in which in each of these titles !!!
