Bill, I think the original proposal from the Govt was $30 million over three years n then sink or swim. This is in direct contrast to $10 million for T'Breds for Championship (flop), $30 million for the grandstand, Country Championship n increase in prize money for country racing. Oh, I forgot to add the Tax Parity relief money. It's a family affair n "there is no better time to breed with your mare". . If we get the $150 million n it's spent correctly then that's all we want. Our share hey ?

Interview conducted by Steve Price with Robert Borzak on 2GB re: the Gov't's package. . We have to be political at the 2019 State Election. No more than two years before the next election and we have a Five Year Plan for the Industry. We have to have political clout and power to the people through a political party that is fully supporting our industry. The two major parties, IMO have failed us. It's quite obvious what we have to do to obtain a viable industry in NSW. . Disclaimer: Still, I am not a member of a political party, but you and I know who I vote for on this subject.

Mark you have on many occasions sang the praises of Robert Borsak and writely so The SFF are a political party without factions and genuinely have the greyhound industries best interests at heart and has the industries Back no one else has Borsak understands exactly what the Government is trying on to starve the industry out of existence You state you are not a member of a party maybe it is time for every Greyhound enthuasist in NSW to become a member of the SFF and show BORSAK that we have his back It is possible that after the 2019 state elections the SFF may hold a very strong position in the next parliament $30 a year signup on line SAY IT LOUD SAY IT PROUD I am a card carrying financial member of the COMMON SENSE Party the SFF

Well said ray, I listened to Mr. Borsak being interviewed and I am bloody pleased he is in our corner because there are'ny many that are and he is in the right position to try and help our cause,I will be joining the sff to-day.

Recent corespondance from the SFF 2019 STATE ELECTION -HAVE YOU GOT WHAT IT TAKES At the 2019 State Election we will be targeting LOWER HOUSE ELECTORATES Where the Nationals have failed to stand up for rural areas WE WILL SUCCEED We want to hold the BALANCE of POWER in both the lower and upper house so we can enforce the right policies for all law-abiding shooters fishers -farmers and hold the government to account The LNP have become lazy when it comes to representing regional communities because in most seats there has not been an electable alternative competing against them That will now change We are searching for suitable candidates across all Regional electorates We are after people already contributing to there local communities who are willing to stand up and fight for what we believe in A Win for the greyhounds but its not over yet Robert Borsak Upper House Member Finally the NSW Government reversed its dreadful decision to shut down the GREYHOUND INDUSTRY Greyhound racing offers many cultural social and economic benefits to the community and the reasons given unilaterally banning it could have been easily applied to agriculture or any other animal related industry I will keep working with the industry to make sure it does not get a raw deal again and to ensure that the governments treatment of the industry is fair and just During the debate of the greyhound racing bill 2017 we moved amendments to ensure that the money owed to the industry due to the failure of the intercode agreement was given back The LNP yet again sided with THE GREENS and the ANIMAL JUSTICE PARTY to oppose this

The SFF Party is going to hold a meeting at Wyong RSL to create a greyhound branch of the SFF Party. Members will elect an Executive n one of the Executive will receive a seat at SFF Conferences. Thats where decisions are made and taken to the Govt. There is no reason why a proper and suitable candidate couldnt be found to represent the greyhound fraternity under the SFF Party at the next State Election in March 2019. As you know, they support OUR cause.
A SFF member in NSW who isnt aligned with a branch can join as a new branch member, I believe without cost. Anyone who has other branch membership, would need to resign to join this one.
I believe it is 12 midday on Saturday 24 February 2018 at Wyong RSL.
